My blog is on blogspot.com and I am wondering if anyone else can help me. I am going to be away next week (in Florida, yeehaw) and I would like to set up my blog to post things on a timer while I am gone. Does anyone know how to do this? I have tried and can't get it to work!! Any ideas???
That's a good idea. Not sure if I will have access to a computer but I could try that if all else fails. It's just that I know my friend does it on her typepad blog and I'm sure there's a way, I just can't figure it out!
I have a Typepad account, so I'm not sure how blogger works. With Typepad, drop down menu that I can choose from and one of them is "Post On..." If I click on that, it will bring up a calendar and I can choose the date, as well as the time, for my posts to be scheduled.
Do you see anything like that on your blogger account?

I just popped into my old, old blogspot account and I can't see a way to do automatic posting like you're looking for. Didn't see anything in the help section either.

I don't think that you can set it up as an automatic timer...
The only thing that you can do is that under post options, change the post date and time to a day in the future BUT the post will appear right away if you do this
So a visitor to your blog today will see post dates for next week....make sense??
On my blog, I use Pivot, and it has a feature called Timed Publish. You select the dropdown menu and click Timed Publish instead of Publish or Hold and then type the date and time that you want it published on. I don't know about blogspot though it should have something similar.

Kurtis. I checked out your blog site and it looks wonderful.
