Smile Favourite clear alpha sets for sentiments?

Hiya!

This is inspired by a question from Topaz_n29 in this great clear/acrylic stamps thread (if you haven't read that thread yet, whatcha waitin' for? ):

Anyone have any good quality, clear alphabet sets to recommend for sentiments? Example: you want to spell out "Happy Chocolate Day, Tami", etc. I think ones with mulitple letters are a very good bonus.

My friend has some 'medium' sized clear Stampendous alpha stamps...another friend has a smaller CTMH alpha set. (For DIY sentiments, I use my Making Memoreis magnetic alpha stamps.)

So, please share names of companies or stamp sets (links, too, if you have any)...please mention if they have multiple letters or not...please share the size of the stamps, too, if possible... the syle of the font...etc.

Thanks!

I'm subscribing because I want to know which alphabets would be great for using sentiments too.

I just got a set today that I love, love because it is so tiny. In fact, it is called Tiny Alphabet, Perfectly Clear Stamps, by Stampendous.

I got it at a stamp store, but it is available online. The upper case is only 1/4" wide and the lower case is 1/8th". There are multiple letters in the set.

Scroll down a way and look at Tiny Alphabet

Oooh. I LOVE that tiny alpha from stampendous!!! Thanks for the tip, I think i NEED it now!! LOL.

I just ordered some acrylic blocks with grids on them from My Favorite Things because I find that most acrylic stamps will curve unless placed very carefully. These gridded blocks will really help stamp a straight word with that Stampendous alphabet.

I really like the small Williamsburg alpha from Technique Tuesday. I used it to spell out "Sweet Baby" on this card (unfortunately I did smear it just a tiny bit, but that's user error, not a problem with the stamps themselves!)

www.cdstamps.com has a wide variety of alphabet fonts and most of the sets have more than one letter in it. They also sell "booster" sets for most of the alphabet fonts that carry additional letters.

Yes! They're in the 'high quality' clear stamps category.

Does anyone have any Impression Obsession alpha sets? If so, do you have a set that's a small size and would be appropriate for making your own sentiments? Here are their alpha stamps ...just not sure on their sizes. Some look small on my screen. And I see the last 2 have duplicate letters.

I know it's not clear, but I really love my Karen Foster snap stamps for making sentiments.

I'm not a fan of acrylic stamps, but Purple Onion Designs has *awesome* unmounted RUBBER alphabet sets. They're very reasonably priced too!! Some of these styles have multiple sizes in the same alphabet font!

Michele is the owner of this business and her customer service is great!
