Happy Weekend everyone! I hope that you have had a good week, this second week in December! I hope that all is calm for you and things are not too crazy hectic!
I just want to take a second and say thanks for all the birthday wishes you sent my way last week! My sister and BIL drove hours in icy conditions (entire trip took 11 hours) just to surprise me and OH boy, was I ever surprised! It's a week later and I STILL have a warm fuzzy feeling from the surprise!!!!
I have had some truly lovely moments this week but overall it's been very hectic and if things haven't been crazy enough, I lost internet for awhile this evening and wasn't sure if I was going to get it back in time to post this thread!
So with a deep breath....here are a few of my favorite finds this week.......
What fabulous finds did you come across this week? This is the place to share what caught your eye over the past week! Everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Check the next post for step by step instructions!
Brenda (tessaduck, Robin (Stamperrobin), Linda (Holstein), Mary (jandjccc), Stacy (JBgreendawn) and me (ohmypaper!) will have the pleasure of notifying this week! Thanks ladies for all you do to make this such a happy place!
What you need to know:
The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. Everyone is invited to post links to any special cards or projects that were uploaded last week, 8 December, 2013, through 15 December, 2013.
Each week we have newcomers to these threads. EVERYONE is invited to join in. The more participation we have, the more interesting this thread will be.
Want to post a Thank You? Please do not use the Quote button .
Instead of quoting, scroll down and either type your response in the Quick Reply box or click the Go Advanced button. This thread will be easier to read without all the same link lists quoted over and over again.
Pay It Forward (optional).
When you say "thank you," you're encouraged to also link to at least one of your own Favorites from last week.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps.
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. (It says Splitcoaststampers: Stamping, Stamps, Card Making Ideas, Paper Crafts & Template Gallery ... and so on.) Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.

Two BIG Thank You's to Robin for both mentioning my card in your favorites and then telling me about it! AND also to Mary T for the notification. I have had some personal stuff going on which has caused me to take a break from lots of stuff. Most recently some back problems that is getting in the way of my card making. I do have some things to upload that have already been sent off so I will be working on that as my back allows. Like you all I have too much to do and not enough time to get it all done. Had I been smart and started in July.....
Big HUGS to Stacy for mentioning my "O Christmas tree" card and to swldebbie for mentioning my "Let it Snow" card! It's always fun to get a shout out from fellow stampers! Special thanks to Angie for notification of these posts!
Hi Priscilla, Aren't you so sweet to mention my little Christmas Kliban cat card in your favorites this week! I had such fun making it! you have made my day special! Thank you so very much!
