I seem to get into a rut, and I thought it would be great to get an idea of some of your favorite or most used sketches. You know.....the "go to" ones that you find yourself using over and over again. I like clean and simple, so those types catch my eye. But what about you all?
I can't say that I have a "go to" sketch so much as the gallery here is my "go to" for inspiration. Sorry, no help here.
I LOVE the gallery too. The problem is that I can get lost for hours just looking. If I used that time to actually make cards, I would be set for a long time!
I think this is one of my favorite go to sketches - basically two different patterned papers against a solid background, separated with a ribbon or a strip of paper punched with one of those border punches and then the stamped image colored to match.
LOL Now that's funny! I'll be browsing the gallery looking for inspiration and an hour later my husband will say "surely you've found SOMETHING you like!" and I'll say . . . umm ya . . . I found gobs! Too much!! LOL Too overwhelmed to get on with the task LOL

Since you like CAS, you might want to check out the Clean & Simple blog. They post a new CAS sketch each week called the Fall to Layout. It may take you some time to look through the past 67 sketches, but then you will have 67 ideas for CAS cards and an easy reference to where to find them again.
