Okay, so I just got both, the dies from spellbinders and the stamps from Gina K and I need help.
How do you stamp in evenly in the paper cut with the die? Or do you stamp then cut with the die? If so, how do you do it evenly?
I almost got the waltzing mouse stamps b/c they were clear for this, but the phrases were not Americanesk so I went with the Gina K set, but now I can't get the stamp even on the small shape! Of course I did start with the smallest one....
I will keep trying, but please give me some hints so I can make life easier!
thanks in advance!
Okay, hope this helps. First stamp your image on a piece of cardstock large enough to accommodate the Nestie. Next put it on your CB bottom plate facing up. Then you lay the Nestie on top of the image with the cutting side of the die facing down. You can then center the image pretty well, as the die "frames" it. Some people use a little piece of masking tape on the outside edge of the die to hold it in place at this point. I just VERY carefully place the next plate on top, being careful not to move anything around, and then run through my CB.

I stamp my image first, position the die in place and then use some Scotch Repositionable Tape to hold the die in place while I am cutting. Because the Spellbinders dies are open, its easy to see just where you want them to cut!

Another suggestion would be to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig. Use a tiny piece of tape to hold the diecut piece still while you stamp. The blue painter tape works good but my favorite is a little piece of a post-it note. (the sticky part)

Hi Debbie,
I have some blue painter's tape, but I'm interested in Scotch Repositionable Tape. Where did you find it? Would a store like Office Depot or Staples carrry it?

Ted,
I got my Scotch Repositionable tape at my local Office Depot. There where only a few boxes so I bought them all! LOL
I love the Scotch Respositionable Tape! And you can use the same pieces over and over again. I just stick them to the top of my Big Shot. I use nesties all the time, but have had the same roll of that tape for quite some time.
