yep, Ive bought some like that at yard sale and ripped the rubber off them, put them on double sided sticky tape, mounted them to wood blocks then stamped them with stazon on transparency sheet (ran that through an xyron) to make labels for the tops of the woods...

but then i mount every unmounted rubber that way so, i have those things on hand all the time usually...

Yep they had some of them foam or wood as an option. They are SU.

They're for real. They sold for $4.95 and were in three catalogs, the first being the 96-97 catalog.

They do look like SU. I have a set 1997 Fish Frolics, but the SU logo is small(black with white letters). It is rubber on stiff foam.

The stamps are cute, and you got a really good price on the shipping. Yay!

I have the 1998-99 catalog and that set is listed for 4.95 on foam or 7.95 on wood.

Sweetheart Candy is the correct name. ;)

I actually liked it when you had a choice of mounted or unmounted.

When I first started buying SU I bought foam mount whenever that option was available on the sets I liked. I figured I could order more sets for the same amount of money that way. Most of those sets have been sold and the ones I kept rarely get used. I was sad to see that option go but it wasn't too long before I loved wood mounted better.

I just think the eBay auction should have mentioned that they were foam mounted instead of wood mounted! That would have made it more clear to the potential buyers!
