Die cut petal cards

I have a question about the petal cards in the SU catalog and wondered if someone could help me. I would like to make a set of 5 note cards w/envs to put inside the petal card. The petal cards measure 4 x 5 1/4 and the envs measure 3 5/8 x 5 1/8 so I know they will fit but will the petal card be too bulky to close? Thanks for your help.

I have some of the petal cards and tags, and the card definitely will not close properly if you try to put a bunch of things inside. It is not designed to be used as a stationery holder, and a stack of five cards will more than likely be way too thick, even without the envelopes.
