Did you know that Stampin Up's Matchbox Die when made up will hold three Ghirardelli squares? I was playing around with my die and some paper roses that I made and thought...let's try a Ghirardelli square in it to see if it fits....and it does!!! Here is a picture of my matchbox that I made, this was my second try on making these paper roses that uses the Extra Fancy Flower punch. I found the directions for flowers here: http://creationsonpaper.blogspot.com...-tutorial
Does the die only work with certain cutting systems? I'm new to them...don't have one yet...but thinking about getting one eventually!
Thanks!
~Tammy~
no you can use it in most of the rolling die cut machines. Look in the products forum for threads dedicated to different systems for more enabling, I mean help
the match box will hold 4 hershey nuggets. Hershey's kisses are just barely too tall to fit standing upright. If you tip them on their sides you can fit at least 6 of them. I didn't have enough kisses left to see for sure. It will also hold 3 chapsticks which look great wrapped in pretty paper.
See...I didn't know it would hold chapsticks! That's a good idea! Anymore ideas? These would be good gifts for co-workers at Christmas, let's see what else we can think of!
Wow! You managed to not eat THREE of those squares? I can usually hold out and not eat one but THREE? You, my friend, have risen to hero status. I bow to you.
The box is adorable, too, by the way. Thanks for sharing!

LOL!!! Your cute Wendy, thanks for making me giggle! Many, many moons ago I worked at the finance center for the Marine Corps here in Kansas City, in the allotments division.

Exactly! I was thinking that when I first saw the pics. Those little squares don't survive in my house. Very good to know, should my will power increase...I will use them!
