Default Did I buy the wrong thing?

I was wanting something safe to store my cling stamps and clear stamps. I read on SCS that Duralar was a good product to use. I googled it and bought it in a roll. I did not realize until later that there are 2 types of Duralar: clear and translucent. I purchased the translucent. It looks much like a heavy vellum with kind of a plastickey (real word, right?) feel.

Some of my clear stamps are photopolymer the rest, who knows? Some of my cling mount stamps, from various companies, were bought with the cling already on them. The rest I put a thin mount, purchased from Viva Las Vegas, on them.

Some of the pre-mounted cling stamps/ clear stamps stick to the Duralar just fine, some barely, and some not at all. The stamps with the VLV cling on them dont stick at all. But then they dont stick to the acrylic block either, so Ive been removing the mount and using my Tack N Peel. So should I buy the clear Duralar for stamp storage? Will that work better? TIA
Dea

I made the same mistake - the clear is what you need. The good news is the translucent is beautiful for crafting
