I've been poking around, reading threads where people are asking for recommendations of good stamping stores in their summer vacation destinations (and there are a bunch of them!) So I thought it would be fun if we started a list of stores we know of or hope to visit this summer.
I'll start...we are headed to Duck, NC via Richmond, VA, and while in Richmond I am hoping to go to Memories Galore. :-) (My husband doesn't know this yet - LOL!!)

I live in MN and vacation in MN. We went to Moose Lake MN and stayed at the State Park. I went into town and found Simply Scrapin... Sooooo many cute papers, not many stamps but lots of paper and friendly women who work there. I have 2 little ones and they had a couch and movies to watch while the moms shopped!!! Cool, right? They have free crops 3 times a week I think. You can use their ink and bring your own supplies. They will also print pics for you there and access online templates! Great stop. P.S there is a wonderful coffee shop/cafe right across the street, Blue Bear Cafe.
Buffalo Stamps and Stuff in Buffalo, NY. They recently moved to a bit bigger store. I felt like a kid in a candy shop - everywhere I looked they had something I wanted. I have never seen so many stamps in an actual store - One entire wall was stamps. In addition, there were a couple of smaller displays in the store. Terrific selection of papers, alterables, inks, markers, tools....
In Bradenton, on the west coast of Florida (an hour-ish south of Tampa), there is a great scrapbook shop on Manatee Ave. Sorry, I don't remember the name of it. And another on Tamiami Trail (US 41, I think?) in Sarasota.
There is a nice shop in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Owner is really friendly, willing to demo anything and always working in the shop. I can't remember the name right now but the downtown area is basically one street and it is not hard to find.

There is a scrapping store in Kitty Hawk, NC, just a few miles from Duck but it is small and not that great but if you want beach/lighthouse inspred paper then they do have a good selection of that there.
I was just there last week and I cannot remember the name of it...maybe Scrapbook Memories or something like that, sorry.
well not too many people come to Cleveland to vacation LOL but Stamplistics is the largest stamping store in Ohio, and it's in Amherst, OH right off the highway (about 30 min from downtown Cleveland). There are other stores but that's the best, IMO
