This is what I do...I create a template by cutting the edge of piece of cardstock with the decorative scissors. I make sure this template is longer than the edge of my stamped piece.
I line up my template on top of the stamped piece & position the template where I want the cut to start & end. I align my scissors with the cut on the template & start cutting. I do the same thing for the opposite side of the stamped piece and then I do the top & bottom.
Save the cardstock template for future use.
I know without a picture that was probably clear as mud! If I had my digital camera handy I would try to do a visual tutorial.
I am left-handed and so I can't see where I'm cutting, if that makes any sense,or cut in a straight line, that is why I am seriously thinking about buying a Rotatrim. It is a cutter that has the same decorative edges as scissors and you just change the blade to the decorative edge that you want.
