I'm a little cranky today...and a little peeved that my order that was placed on the 24th of March still hasn't shipped...I emailed them and they apologized for the long ship time, this was last Thursday (still not shipped as of today.) It was pretty much a politely worded "tough luck, we're busy, you ordered from us, oh well." Now I see that others whose orders were placed a couple days after mine have already shipped...mind you my first order didn't even have the top opening lunch pails (I ordered those four days later and honestly don't mind if those take some time to come in at this point.)
I guess I'm just all PMS-ee today and needed to complain...thanks for letting me!!
Oh great, I just oredered some last night. I am on vacation later this week and part of next and was hoping I would get them soon so I could play with them. Guess I better come up with a backup project. Good luck I hope you get yours soon. Keep us posted so I know how long mine might take!
I ordered mine on the 26th and they say that they shipped them on 3/31. The website order status still says "processed" but I did receive a tracking number from fedex with the information. It says that I should receive the shipment on the 6th - only time will tell if that's true... I hope you receive your order soon.

Just to make you feel better
This has nothing to do with lunch pails. But I ordered from paperwishes.com on 3/5/06 and still haven't gotten it. It wasn't anything big just some brads and primas, But 3/5 come on. I ordered on 3/25 and it got here today. But still no 3/5 order. I have emailed like 3 times and each time they ask me to be patient and if it still doesn't come on 4/3 (thats today) that they would reship it to me at no additional expense. YA THINK!!!! Not here still. So I know this has nothing to do with your order, but just think it could be worse. LOL Does that make you feel at all better about your lunch pails??? LOL sorry. Just couldn't help myself. Need to let it go, I know. Don't they know we have cards and card holders to make, don't they. GESSHH:eek:

I also ordered mine on the 24th and called today because I didn't receive them. The girl said that they shipped on the 28th and they should be delivered today or tomorrow. My guess is tomorrow since they still aren't here. I ordered 10 of them. Did you order a lot?

I'm going to call tomorrow and see what they say. I ordered the circle lunch tins on my first order. And some Basic Grey stuff too. I ordered the top opening lunch tins on my second order (on the 28th.) I'm in a severe stamping rut these days and am really excited to create with the circle lunch tins.
On a happy note I received two packs of Basic Grey today...skate shoppe and lucky. And included with the order was a thank you sheet of Sophie letter stickers. And I ordered some Prima's today...ok a LOT of Prima's, that was therapy...and even better they already shipped...should be here by the end of the week! Yahoo!!!

Wow Judy you either ordered in the future or waited a loooong time for that order. I ordered my items around the 25th or so and I got them last Saturday. So for me that would be average in ordering time with them.

Well Poo! I ordered from creativexpress.com yesterday. I really hope I don't have the troubles ya'll are having. I really want those tins! I have the paper.. the design and the embellishments.. just need those pesky tins and life will be good!
I got my first wave of them. I ordered twice more (one day apart) and both of those are coming Wednesday. They all include those lunch tins. I got a preshipment notice from fedex for all of my orders when they shipped. They arrived about 3 days after the notice and it included a trackign number.
I'm sure the delays are because they have received sooooo many orders for them thanks to SCS. I know I passed on the info to my downline and most of them aren't even on here. We all know what happens to companies when they are not used to so many orders. Good for them but they probably weren't prepared for the SCS rush. I know that I alone ordered over $200 from them in 2 days and I normally don't order anything. Times that by at least 10,000 people.
Mine just came a few minutes ago, two days earlier than expected! I ordered on 3/27 and had an email last week saying expected delivery date would be 4/6.
I like the other things I ordered too, now wish I had bought more, but I was trying to get to the checkout fast because the tins had disappeared from my shopping cart before when I shopped for too long. Here are some of the extras that I got on sale:
Square bradletz in orange, turquoise, green and blue 160/$2
Metallic square bradletz in gold, silver, copper (shiny, not aged) 30/$0.50
Primitive heart bradletz in red 25/$0.50
6x6 Sage Qwikit Binder album (very nice quality, padded cover, has metal reinforcement on the corner edges) $2
150 grm (5.3oz) gold micro beedz $1 (way more than I thought, 5.3 oz is 1/3 cup - easily 3 or 4 times the amount in those flat little round acrylic "jars").
Damn, I hate to pay the shipping again, but there are some great bargains besides the tins. Just went to their website - the March madness sale is extended thru 4/6.
So, what other goodies did you get with your tins?
I suspect that the pre-shipment info I received from fed-ex is actually for my second order...supposed to be here on Friday. I do feel badly for this company right about now...can you imagine how overwhelming we must be :razz:
I think they were so behind the 8 ball on this sale that they weren't necessarily able to get all the shipping confirmations out in a timely manner...better that way then not being able to ship the orders :rolleyes:
Gee, turns out the girl I talked to lied to me. Order wasn't shipped per fed-ex. They said there is nothing scheduled for my address. I have been sitting on hold for 15 minutes and was hung up on once. My blood is boiling.

OK...so in the box I got today there was the circle lunch pails...dd#1 says "what are those?"
I said "Lunch boxes that I am going to pretty up."
dd "how are you going to pretty them up?" So I pull out my sketch and show her the basic grey and prima's...she slowly picks her jaw up off the floor...
dd "you're not going to sell that on ebay are you?"
me "no, why?"
dd "I want to give it to Mrs Grady...those are her colors...she looks so pretty in them! She can use it as a purse and maybe you could make her some matching things to go inside."
God Bless her little heart! The funny thing is...I was planning on making it for Mrs Grady all along (her Kindergarten teacher.) I am making a scrapbook of all the students in the class to go inside. The girls are being done with Lollipop Shoppe and the boys are being done with Skate Shoppe (both Basic Grey collections) The outside will be done in Lollipop as well.
I think dd's training in altered art is going well!

I made one tin for MIL's birthday and it was a huge hit, but I just can't decide what to do with the other tins. A little inspiration is always a good thing!
I ordered my tins 2 days ago and they just show "processed", no shipped or any tracking number. I guess I was in the middle of the mad "rush"... hope I get 'em at all!
Ok. So how do you know if your stuff shipped? I ordered on 3/27, did not receive any confirmation email or anything. When I check my account online it says the order was processed. So what does that mean? Has it shipped? Do I have to call to find out? I am at work and hate to get on the phone to check this out. What is your experience with this company? Do I need to be more patient?
OK. Lots of questions!! LOL Plain and simple, is the only way to find out if it shipped is make a call to them?
and how long should I wait?

Prima's are handmade flowers made out of Mulberry Paper. They are beautiful and I'm happy to share my source. Great selection & pricing and fast shipping.
To check your order at CX make sure your are logged in and on the left click on order history, then click search all on the next page. Your order history will appear in list form...click on "complete" or "processed" NEXT TO the order number and it will give you what looks like a packing list. scroll ALL THE WAY to the bottom to see if there is a tracking number in the little box.
I don't think anyone has anything to worry about with this company...I am sure that everyone will get everything they ordered too.
Just wanted to let you all know I GOT MY TINS!!! ordered on the 29th and got 'em today-exactly on time with the fed-ex notice date. now... what to do with them all... hee hee...;-)
I ordered 15 of them on March 28 and received them today. I got a shipment notice on the 3rd saying they would be here on the 8th. They were right on time. I am pleased with their service. I think I will have to more stuff!

Got my shipping notice today too. Arriving 4/13... so less than 2 weeks after I ordered them... We're spoiled with SU's speedy shipping..... Had a partylite show on March 21, and JUST TODAY got the shipment notice on that... so kudos to SU and CE for being so prompt!

And just to make you feel better, I ordered the Making Memories Runway Collection 3 sizes of tote in October and I am still waiting for them. I was told they would be in in March, still no totes. Now aren't you all feeling much happier!

Was quite a good deal, I just like them because they are pink. I am in the UK, so I am used to terrible customer service! Way worse over here than you could ever imagine, your worst is usually our pretty good!
I've waited this long, so I can wait a bit longer, getting a little tetchy now. Ah well, they'll get here eventually. The company have always been really good in the past, so there is probably a good reason.
