The only bag-a-lope I've heard of is a little bag made from a sealed envelope. You just cut one narrow end off, pleat the sides and bottom, and fold the bottom points onto the bottom so it looks like those old-school paper bags we used to get groceries in
the Kreate-a-lope products are carried at Amazon.com via Jo-Ann's, and also at Creative Impressions. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ance&n=1064954 http://www.cistamps.com/envelope_templates.htm
I have two of the heart/petal card templates, one that makes a large card and one template sheet that has the pattern for three small cards. I also have three of the templates for normal envelopes (4.25x5.5, 6x6, and 5.something by 7.something). When using the tearing method, I wouldn't use anything much heavier than gift wrap or maybe scored patterened SB paper/cheaper CS.

I have made the one's that you explained above. The same guy who sells the Create-a-lope sells the bag-a-lope. I think it was on QVC. I should have purchased it when I seen it but NO I was going to wait. Now I am still waiting. He used a template to make gift backs for presents, etc.
What I was looking for it called Kreate-a-bag. I found it on the second link that Mahloumel listed at Creative Images. I have been looking for this forever. Probably would have helped had I had the name correct:oops: .
Go here....this is the guy's website. I bought the Kreate-a-Lope and the Bag-a-Lope eons ago at a stamp convention, but now he offers the card templates with the Kreate-a-Lope. Have fun! HTH
Thanks for the address of Greensneakers.com. I saw him demo the bag-a-lope years ago, when he first started. He was on QVC for the first time the next day, and was very excited about it. I still use the products, and I was surprised at how many things have been added. Eileen

Edit: Oops! Just saw that someone already posted this...I ordered from them a couple of weeks ago but don't have my envelope templates yet (I'm in Canada) so I can't comment on how good/bad they are.
Oops, I forgot to say I think the templates (at least the older ones for tearing I have -- it looks like they also have chipboard templates out now) are very well thought-out, and made it very quick and easy for me to make a 6x6 envelope in minutes. It was much easier on me than the "winging it" method I've resorted to in the past when I realise I have made a card size for which I have no envelopes.
I've been watching some of the videos on the greensneakers website. Kinda neat!
