Default Color Spritzer VS. Inworx Airbrush Tool

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference would be between these two tools. Does the color spritzer airbrush? Thanks for any help you can offer.

The two tools are the same exact thing. Depending on how far you insert your marker, and how hard you squeeze the bulb will determine the amount of ink that will be spattered on your paper.

I have the original Inkworx tool which I purchased from SU! a few years ago, however I hardly use it.

I have the old one and don't get it out too often either.
A trick I used on wooden crafts to create the fly specked look is to dip an old toothbrush in a small amount of craft paint and run your finger across the bristles to splatter the paint on your project. I don't know why you couldn't do the same on paper. I would practice this technique on scratch paper to see if you like the effect. This might be a cheaper alternative if you don't plan on using this technique much. HTH.

I bought the air tool, as I wanted to get one in case it was discontinued again. Compared to "iddy biddy backgrounds" stamp set, it is a more random, less controlled splatter, and surely it takes more ink, as the ink that misses is wasted. But it can do a very fine spray that is subtle translation: I need my reading glasses to see it. Works best when you have a confetti background and you want to spritz in a hint of color instead of little dots.

The newer SU spritzer is so much better than the one from a few years ago. I have the old one and you have to rinse it out before you change colors or there is contamination of the marker. The ink is sucked into that bulb. A friend of mine just bought the new one and this does not happen with the new design. I am thinking of getting one and selling my old one.

Blessings,
Pam
