does anyone have more info on this? Is there something that you have to put in the tool (water, etc) and is there special paper you need in order to get the proper look?
If it is like the one they had a while back, all you do is slide your marker in and then squeeze the bulb. The air against the marker makes the color spritz onto the paper. Any paper that works with the markers would work with this too.
Yes, it looks just like the old one which I could never get to work right! Very frustrating!

Just don't use it on Pretty in Pink after you have used it on Night of Navy, unless you wash it out first. Can you hear sad experience talking here? :???:
I just bought the new SU spritzer and have tried it with a variety of markers and nothing happens (except air coming out of the back of the thing).
Am I doing it wrong? Am I supposed to cover the back with my thumb or something?
Thanks so much.
Trisha (who may need to grow another thumb!)
To me, it sounds like your spritzer is defective. If the new one is like the old one (which I have), the only place air should come out (or go in) is through the end of the pointy nozzle, which would be pointed at the tip of your marker.

I bought the new spritzer and it works fine. The air does not come out the back though--it comes out the nozzle. It works best on SU pens, I've tried my CM pens but they don't work well with it. It does take a little practice to get the spatters in the right place I think the itty bitty bg works much easier--but I like the effect of the sprizter.

I absolutaly LOVE the spritzer. I had the original (until my puppy decided she was going to help me stamp and chewed it up.) I was so excited to see it back in the catalog this year to replace it. It does take some playing with to get it to work right but once you get the hang of it the results are great!
I've been using mine since July and I love it. So far I've seen no negative effects on my beloved stampin' write markers. I also haven't had to clean it in between using different color markers. HTH
I love it! It takes a bit to figure out how fast the air hast to be squeezed in order to get a nice spray rather than a blob of ink. But, well worth the effort to master (not much effort needed!).
