Color Help Needed
I am making invites for my friend's bridal shower in June. Our dresses are pretty much the color Perfect Plum. The alternate color is green, for the invites, I was thinking of using Perfect Plum, and Certainly Celery, with Vanilla CS, but I'm not sure if it'll be too 'bright'. Should I do PP with Certainly Celery, or Mellow Moss??? What do you think??
I'm going to do a pocket card for the invite, something similar to this one by coloradostampin
I voted for Certainly Celery with the Perfect Plum. I think if you are using the base as Perfect Plum and the pocket insert as Celery it won't be too bright but it will make it a bit more fun!!
I love Mellow Moss with Perfect plum. I think lilorangemouse's idea of shimmery white is spectacular! Or how about using the mulberry paper in SS mulberry paper assortment?
I voted for celery because it's my favorite, but I actually made wedding shower invites in the moss/plum colors like you are mentioning....the bride's colors were purple and green...they just went together better...if you want to see my invite look in my gallery , it was made with the Artifacts stamp set...the clock....it was an around the clock shower! Good luck!

I did wedding invites last year in Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Mellow Moss with Terrific Tulips (at the bride's request), and the color combo was beautiful. IMO, Mellow Moss gives it a more formal, understated, elegant look, while Certainly Celery would have a more informal, "fun" feel. It depends on which way you want to go. Have fun!

Thanks to you all with all great ideas thus far! I like the idea of doing shimmery white, hadn't really thought of that...
It's more of an informal shower, which is why I was leaning toward celery, but again, they're both pretty...that's why I was hoping to get some help here, although it's a dead heat between the 2 at this point.
The link I posted wasn't exactly what I'm going to do, but more or less the layout anyway...porbably use different stamps, not sure what yet, though.

Well, the poll didn't quite work out the way I had hoped (meaning the results are basically even, leaving me in the same spot I started)...maybe today, I can get some of you to sway me one way or the other???

Why not make one up using each color combination, post the pictures here, and then ask the question again. Just a thought.
