Default Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for Week Ending November 29, 2009

Welcome to the Clean and Simple Favorites thread! I invite you to post links to your favorite CAS cards and projects from the last week here so others can enjoy them.

Here are mine!

girlgeek101 posted a holiday card with a most unusual embellishment and inspiration; she also posted an adorable kitty card

CAKath made a sponged Christmas card for the CAS challenge that shows how a dramatic ribbon can really set off a card

ltecler used embossed vellum and aqua cardstock to make a strikingly pretty holiday card

fionna51 made a simple and sweet birthday card that caught my eye

rsalamon made a totally happy "happy day" card

bkbaker1222 made a bright and cheery birthday card

lola612 made an elegant masculine birthday card

happy2stamp4ever made a lovely autumnal sponged card

LaLatty, a current CAS DT member, is playing along with the CAS DT challenge and posted this fab snowman card and this adorable grinch card

StampGroover wowwed me with her red and green Peace card

Melissa_Aggie combined red and pale blue to make a strikingly pretty Christmas card

juls716 used shimmer paint to make this elegant snowflake card

Violin28 used rub-ons and textured cardstock to make this stunner of a Christmas card

al_silver2 used piercing and sponging to make a lovely winter card

jazzytobi's distressed noel card really caught my eye

ilinacrouse drew a box (oh, how I love boxes!) to frame her lovely punched flowers

jaydeestamping used metallic cardstock beautifully with her delightful decorations card

cookiebaker used red and white and glitter to make her snowflake card really stand out

markie's mom made an OLC with beautiful blue sponging to spotlight her reindeer

SeattleStamper's perfectly sponged blossoms definitely called to me

hskelly used one of my fave PTI sets for her beautiful sponged scene

doodersmom9 used a nontraditional color and a great layout to make her snowflake card extra special

(Please note I am not favoriting any cards submitted for consideration in the CAS DT challenges because I'm helping judge...but there are some amazing cards there!)

What CAS deliciousness did YOU favorite this week?!?!?!

girlgeek101 uses Fabriano Italian Paper and something from around the house. By thinking outside the box, she created a lovely CAS card for Christmas and shares a funny story. That's true creativity.

Thumbs up My Favs

I feel so special when I find myself on this weeks FAVs....I love CAS and the CAS team of encouragement! BTW: I think every one has a extra inch of magical inspiration due to the holidays (ho ho ho)! Here are my favorites:

ApricotRose: Awesome use of a punch to make a quick beauty of a card.

LateBlossom: From this one I learned that you can vary the same idea on different mediums....I love the randomness on the bag...but I prefer the alignment on the card...call me crazy but I think they are just right!

k dunbrook: It's the perfect combination of snowflake and ornament to me!

stampinsusie: Beautiful embossing with holly layout. Very beautiful design.

Fabulous gallery!!

Here are a few of my faves...

nikkischmaltz Love the distressing... especially the embossed background

lisahenke Great colors, love the scalloped strip on the right edge and that woodgrain background

Melissa_Aggie LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that she used a background stamp in place of one of the patterned papers. And it is white ink on Kraft to boot!

Thanks Fionna (Dianne) for adding me to your list of favorites. The CAS challenge is becoming one of my favorites, esp. this busy time of year. Happy Stamping, nancy
P.S. Susan, I linked my card to your CAS thread. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you so much Susan and Diane for mentioning my CAS cards. I really appreciate it and I'm so glad that you both liked my cards.

Special thanks to Karen for letting me know that my cards were mentioned here.

lisahenke Great colors, love the scalloped strip on the right edge and that woodgrain background

Melissa_Aggie LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that she used a background stamp in place of one of the patterned papers. And it is white ink on Kraft to boot!
Holy cow, THANK YOU!!! Oh my goodness I'm truly humbled. You just made my night! So glad you loved it.
