Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for Week Ending 1/5/14
Welcome to the 1st CAS Favorites thread for the new year! 2014 is certainly starting out with a bang, isnít it? Donít know about any of you who may have been trying to fly home the past few days, but can tell you that cheers erupted at the gate yesterday, when they told us we had finally been cleared to take off. The holidays were nice, but I am happy to be getting back to normal life again.
Being as how this is the first week of the new year, how about a group resolution? Letís each try to include at least one new-to-you stamper on your favorites list each month? You know they are out there, so letís seek them out and recognize them!!
Here are some of the new additions to my favorites folder from this past week. Canít wait to see which others caught YOUR eye!
WT460 & My QFTD197 ARIZONA by Arizona Maine Angela proves once again that she is a master at the white on white card. Absolutely stunning!
HeartStrawberries by Biggan I thought Birgitís embossed, heart shaped berries were just so sweet!
Let it Snow with Love by Aimes I loved the sweet hearts mixed with the snowflakes, and really liked the way Amy matted the card. A Star is Born by Loll Thompson I donít know which is cuter Ė Lollís new grandbaby or this sweet card she made to welcome him to the world. IC422, One-Layer Thanks by k dunbrook Karenís fantastic doodling (how DOES she do that?) is the perfect finishing touch to this sunny CAS beauty. XOXOXO by Kimberly Crawford (*** New-to-Me Stamper ***) Kimberly hit it out of the park with this one, showing that CAS is not just another term for plain. I love the look of the shimmery gold hearts and sentiment with the soft colors in her CAS background.
This thread is open to everyone and is a greatway to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists. There are really only two "rules" here on the thread: The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style and they should be from the past week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
