Hi! I am going to a wedding (WITHOUT MY KIDLETS ... YEA!!) in Ohio this weekend. Part of the festivities are in Cincinnati and some are in Covington, KY. My husband is IN the wedding so I may (hopefully) have some free, alone time to do my own thing. Any good stores in the area that I shouldn't miss ... I make cards AND scrapbook :-D
There is an Archiver's in the Cinci area and there is also a stamp store in the Kenwood area called Stamp Your Art Out. You can mapquest or google them for directions. Hope they are close enough for you to go to. Both are lots of fun.
Yes, Stamp You Art Out is a must visit! Here's there website: www.stampawayusa.com
There used to be a stamp store and scrapbook store right next door to each other in Covington but I think they both have closed, but you might want to double check on that.
And there was a scrapbook store next to the Florence Mall, Scraps Etc. but again not sure if they are still there or not.
Sorry, it's been awhile since I've been shopping up that way
Creative Stamper in Ft Mitchell KY is a great stamp store. Tons of stamps, inks, etc. They offer great classes. They're right off I-75 and the Buttermilk Pike exit, near the Drawbridge Inn. The gals who work there are super friendly and knowledgeable.
Scraps Etc. is still on Mall Road in Florence, in the same plaza as Hobby Lobby. It has a lot of scrapbooking stuff and might be worth the drive for you. Hobby Lobby is just south of the Florence Mall on the west side of Mall Road.
I should have have read this sooner. We were just staying at the drawbridge for my parents 40th anniversary party. I live in Plano, TX and all of our local scrapping stores have closed. Now it is just micheals, joanne's and hobby lobby.
Well, happy shopping

It is the closest to where you will be in Covington. Stamp your Art out is great, but it takes too long to get there from where you will be staying.....
The scrapbook store by Hobby Lobby does not have too many stamps......
Best of Luck!
Shelly from Illinois- my parents live in Edgewood, Kentucky!
yeah! thanks it looks like i could keep myself very busy this weekend now i just need to figure out a way to keep my DH occupied ... hopefully his wedding party duties will distract him while i spend all his money! hee hee!
I'm so glad to know Creative Stamper is still there! I used to get a newsletter from them but it stopped so I assumed they had closed. I'll have to stop by next time I'm up that way. Thanks for the info!
Thanks for the info... I need a file to put it in because my DH keeps on about going to some tourist sites in Ohio so of course I will need some me time too!
