Default Changing the color of a hyperlink in a photo description

Hi all,

I just searched the forum and learned how to create a shortened link within a photo description (you know, when you upload your photos) by using the html code to do it - but how do you change the color of the link text? I can do it here, because there are all the formatting icons above the box where I'm typing. But when I'm uploading a photo and I want to add a link to the description, there are no formatting icons to click on there. How/where do I add html code that will change the color of my link text? Thanks!

You just need to specify the color along with any other tags. So in the gallery you'd have something that looks like this (ignore the * character - those are just there so the forum will display what I type inside the square brackets rather than interpreting them and formating the text accordingly)

[*url="http//:www.myblog.com/blogpost.htm"][*color=blue]click here for my blog post

You always need to close a tag so as just as you'd type "" to finish the web address, you also type "" to finish the change of color. Those should be "nested", IYSWIM.

You can also use [*b] (with [*/b] to close) to make text bold. So for the example above to be bold as well as blue, that would be:

[*url="http//:www.myblog.com/blogpost.htm"][*color=blue][*b]click here for my blog post

HTH!
