Question Chalk, Encore and Metallic Inks

I have some questions. How do you emboss with the chalk inks? I know you can put fabric in the dryer. What about cards? Do you use the heat gun and what is the process of this embossing? Also, What's the technique for Encore and metallic ink pads?
Today is my first day at this forum. :-D Just discovered it at ebay. I'll do my profile & everything else later on.

I'm a little unclear about some of your questions. Wet embossing usually involves using a pigment ink, such as Encore or SU's craft inks. Stamp an image on paper. Sprinkle on embossing powder, shake off excess and heat with a heat gun. SU's craft inks can be used on fabric. could you be more specific??

Smile Chalk , Encore and Metallic Inks

I read in one of the threads that chalk inks like Petal Point or Cat's Eyes are almost better than the classic and craft inks. These inks are by SU. They said it leaves a soft beautiful effect. One of the members said she stamped a ounsie and put it in the dryer and worked perfect for a permanent effect. Someone else said that it stayed in perfect condition after being washed. I also need to know about these Encore and metallic inks. How do you use them?
Thanks for your reply
