Default Is this a case of---

the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence? I just got the new catty last night and I noticed Weathered and Print Pattern BG stamps. I have Cracked Antique and the other one that looks like Print Pattern and used both of them maybe once or twice, but I'm thinking I need Weathered and Print Pattern. Should I stick with the ones I have and start using them or retire them and buy the new ones. Are stamps like clothes - you have to rotate and get rid of them even when there is nothing wrong with them because styles change?

In my opinion, I'd keep the ones that you have and save your money to buy other new stamps! As you say, they are nearly the same and particularly as a bg stamp, who will know??

I agree with Beth...the differences aren't drastic enough that I would want to get the new ones. I love my Antique Cracking stamp!!

Use the old ones. I think BG stamps, the big ones, take some getting used to. I use mine more now that I use the brayer method of inking them up. I get a more even look and like them better.

Definitely continue to use the Antique Cracking. Just use a lighter touch with it. I used it last night, and it was perfect!
