Let's remember next year when everyone posts to send a card to a recovering American soldier that it is not true. My card was returned yesterday that was mailed Dec. 13th with the following message: undeliverable, unable to forward. I guess they will not accept any cards that are not addressed to an individual. It was a good idea anyway. Thanks.
Here are 4 sites that receive and distribute donated cards for soldiers. There are many sites that accept your donated cards, and each has varied guidelines for stampers to follow. Find one that feels good for you and stamp for the soldiers with the knowledge that your efforts will get there indeed. ;)
TexasGrammy, thank you for posting those sites for mailing cards. I happen to work with Soldiers' Angels and each and every year I meet people who want to send (or have sent) cards to wounded soldiers at Walter Reed only to have them returned. I can say that the cards that are received are like gold to the soldiers, so it's a worthwhile undertaking.
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
