I love my Canvas background and use it on almost all of the projects I am making lately. I see so many cards in the gallery that have it used one way or another.
It reminds me of the old tootsie roll pop comercial (the one with the owl) How many licks does it take to get to the center? Oh, no...my age is showing.
So how many times can we use our canvas before it wears out?
I don't see how they can't add it to the new catty come July.

I have a stamp(not SU) that my Mom bought while she was in HS. It's over 50 years old. I still use it occassionally. Stamps don't wear out, that's why they are such a great investment!

Actually, I did wear out one of my stamps--the speckles from itty bitty backgrounds. It wasn't easy, but we did it. It took almost constant use, both at workshops and in my stamp room, since it was offered as a hostess set back in 1997. Some of the small dots got bigger, and several clumps of dots turned into splotches. Somebody who didn't know what it was supposed to look like wouldn't have noticed, but it bothered me enough to replace the set. I considered it $11.95 well-spent, especially since the original hostess set was free.
It is possible to love them so much that the ink wears off of the plastic label, though! That happened to my demo's splatter stamp from Itty Bitty Backgrounds.
BTW, Debbi, I've seen that commercial, too -- so see, you can't be that old! Of course, my sisters have started calling me old now that I'm firmly on the far side of 25. :?

This thread makes me giggle! This is just a good reason to get out the xyron and make a new sticker for it! My splatter sticker wore off too!
Off to make a new sticker! Hee hee! ;)

Wow, I never thought they actually could wear out. I just know this is the first time I have used the same one so many times and have noticed that is being used just as often by others.

Do you know how long the Canvas stamp is going to be available for? Is it something that I should quick place an order for - even if that's the only thing that I want at this time?
Just wanted to mention that I use a stamp with my name on it that I made 20+ years ago in College -unfortunately my name has not changed :( !
It sat in a box for 15+ years covered in old ink and I only pulled it out when I started stamping in 2002. I cleaned it off and it still works great!
I got it when I started teaching from the PTA (through my now upline). It said Mrs. Ward, and I used every school day for 24-30 students in their agenda books for 4 years. When I left at the end of the year I tossed it because it was just too mushy-you could still read it but it was just all "soft" looking when the image was stamped.
(I think I gave it to one of my students in my annual end of the year "Win Mrs. Ward's Junk" raffle!LOL) :P
