Question Can you recommend a sewing machine ONLY for papercrafting?

I love making cards and love the stitched look. I don't want to spend so much on a fancy machine when I only want to sew on paper, and don't want to spend so little that it won't work.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

I also have the Janome Sew Mini. For it's size, it has a lot of features and doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

I bought a Janome Sew Mini a couple of months ago just for papercrafting. I got it at my local Hancock Fabrics on sale and I couldn't be happier with it. It's small, lightweight, reasonably-priced, easy to thread and to work the bobbin. It has 3 sizes of zigzag stitching and 4 (I think?) sizes of straight stitching.

I also used it to repair the fabric lining of a small purse I wanted to take on vacation with me. Took me just a couple of minutes. Awesome!

Yep, the Janome Sew Mini is ideal if you just want to sew on papercraft projects. I love mine.

Hee hee - I'll pile on with the Sew Mini. I bought it just for stitching cards and I love it! I did a tutorial not long ago using mine, if you want to see some pictures of it in use.

Love it!

Hmmm... seems like everyone likes the Janome. I will be different. I went to "Wally World" and got the least expensive sewing machine they had. I paid $43.

I use it for papercrafting, but I have also used it to make curtains. I am also working with it to make some purses, headbands, and other accessories using the Big Shot!

So far, no problems. I don't even know a brand!

I think I've decided on the Janome Sew Mini - I found it online at overstock for $36, but do have a local Hancock's store, so will check there. I have no idea how their sales, coupons (do they have any?) work as I never shop there.

Thanks for the great feedback ladies!

One question, I got my Jo-Ann's flier today and they showed a Singer Pixie Plus: The Craft Machine. Anyone own that one? It's more expensive, $49 and can't use a coupon.
