I made this request last summer when I was a new SCS'er and was wonderfully surprised with the response! Here we go again!!
I work at Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, TX. We have 300+ international students that come to us from all over the world. Currently this part of our student body represents 51 countries....isn't this awesome??!! Needless to say, these students are a LONG way from home and get homesick for their family and culture. The international student services office, on campus, has a card ministry where they send cards to the students to encourage them, wish them happy birthday, thinking of you, get well, etc. They need cards to send to these students.
Last year I received (and help make) about 160 cards. THANK YOU, again, to about 12 SCS'ers that helped....you are AWESOME! If you can help this year, please send your card(s) and an envelope to me at:
