I just saw the Anna Griffin bow die on HSN and I love it, but not the price at $34.95. Is it me or is that a high price? What bow die do you like best? Thanks,
mob
there are SO MANY out there, in so many different sizes. would love to know the correct die for a small bow, so that when it is put on a card, it is no bigger than an inch.

MB Tiny Bow is 1.2". Mama Elephant has one that is 1 3/8".
After watching the Anna Griffin demo a couple of times on HSN today, I caved and ordered the set of bow dies. Yes, they are a little pricey, but what the hey, they have easy pay, only $17 per month!
Also, the bows turn out so pretty, and you can make them 3 D from paper. I plan to use the dies to make bows for my Christmas packages as well as cards.
I have no trouble rationalizing an occasional purchase like this. I just go through all the things I don't spend money on, that lots of people do. I do my own manicures, and always have. I color my own hair, and always have. We seldom eat out, and I cook - a lot! Just those things alone are enough for me to justify getting something like this that is really appealing to me.

It's the sizes and 3D nature of the Anna Griffin bow that I like. I couldn't find anything else like it on the web. I finally caved and bought the dies after looking at the prices of other bow dies on the web. I've found all her products to be well worth the money and her customer service is excellent.
I thought I'd share a bow svg file that I got for free for those who have electronic cutters. There is also a ribbon file to go with it. These can be re-sized to fit just about any project.
I would like to make felt bows to go on cards, particularly for christmas. paper ones on a card are likely to smash when mailed?? but they are great for packages!!

I have to say....I wouldn't recommend the Memory Box tiny bow. Its so stinkin small I gave up on it. They have another called Plush bow which is a bit bigger and looks nice.
Blessings.
I received the Anna Griffin Bow Die set that I ordered from HSN and had a chance to try it out.
First, the dies perform and cut beautifully, and the set came with a silicone pad for embossing in your machine after you cut the dies. The embossing came out very pretty, too.
All that said - I am going to return the set because I've decided that the assembly of the bow loops is just too tedious and fiddly for me.
Also, unless you use a lighter weight of card stock, the bow loops tend to crease rather than bend when you make the bows. I need to use the cardstock I have, and not have to go on a hunt for lighter weight paper just to make bows, lol.
Sometimes you have to try something out to know if it is for you. I'm glad HSN has a very good return policy.
