Default Avery Elle Pigment inks

I went ahead and bought them all and the reinkers. But no matter how long I left them to dry they aren't. I thought at first I was using the Gina K cardstock and it was too smooth but tried white on kraft and it still smudges. I let it dry nearly 24 hr, and I've tried other colors and days later still smudges. I've had them for along time but I am just ready to throw them all out and say lesson learned. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

That is one of the reasons why I have stopped trying with pigment inks-- they never dry for me. Some possible workarounds include heat setting with your heat gun or embossing with clear powder to set the ink.

Thanks for the quick response. I wanted to try that Black magic technique. And have tried heat setting too and don't always want to emboss. Maybe I will just save them for embossing projects since I spent so much and hate to waste it.

I've found some pigment inks never dry - even with heat setting. One stacked set of ColorBox inks was like that. Others dry easily - sometimes I use them along with dye inks in the same project.

BroncoFan, maybe you need to use cheaper paper! I have just stamped a bunch of valentines with Avery Elle Pigment using Michaels 60 lb Cheapo white, and it dried very quickly. I'm thinking it absorbed in very fast.
P. S. If you're thinking of really 'throwing them out' ...throw them my way. I love their colors!

The colors are wonderful and that's what confuses me.Actually I do have some cheap paper that usually keep for lining dark cards so I will give it a try and if it still doesn't work I'll give you a call.;)
