Did anyone else get the 30% off coupons and free cardstock email?. I'm wondering if this is the way they are going to be sending out the coupons instead of through the mail. Carol in the SW suburbs of Chicago.
...i have gotten more emails from archivers in the last few weeks than all of last year combined...i still get the mailers as well, but have kind of wondered about the number of emails...this is the first time i have gotten the coupons through the mail...i think the state of the economy is hitting everyone...
I got a mailer at the beginning of December. It had one coupon good for the first half of December and another for the second half of December as well as one for some free cardstock. I don't have an Archiver's anywhere near me. I happened to go to my parents house in early November which is when I got on the mailing list. I live in TN and the nearest one is an hour and a haf away.
Here in the Indianapolis area I got them through e mail, too. I can print them and use them all I want, I guess, since there is no barcode on them. They are the only scrapbook/card store left in my area of town.
This is what I have done in the past...Go to the store and pick out an item you want to buy with the copuon. Buy it and put it in your car (or purse if it is small). Then shop around and use another coupon on your way out. Hopefully you can get a different cashier each time. No one has ever said "oh, didn't you buy something half an hour ago?". It works for me.
