Is there anywhere to order a stamp personally made for you? I'd love to get a stamp that says "Handcrafted by Stephanie" on it that is of good quality that I can use my stamping blocks for.
I ordered one from Staples a few weeks ago and it's not on the wooden handle correctly and it is such a hard plastic......it doesn't hold my good quality inks very well.
Any suggestions? Or do you all use the ones that you have to write your own name in?
I got one at Office Max years ago that I use on all my stamped projects. It is on a plastic handle that sticks up (hard to describe) not a flat wood or plactic. It's the shape of old fashion stamps. It says "Kreations by Kris" and stamp it on the back of all my cards. I love it.
My absolute favorite one I have is from Sweet Papery. I have many but this is my favorite. I can't find the photo I had of it but you can see it on my blog here. I love this stamp!

Close To My Heart offers personalized stamps.
I have included a link to my webpage to view the stamps... but they are orderable thru ANY consultant.
I have one, and love it. It also comes with its own acrylic block.
I have sold one that used 2 lines as simple as "handmade by" and the next line the person's name.
I've also had one made that was 3 lines "designed by" 2nd line "Jane Doe" 3rd line "designer for ..."
You can customize whatever you'd like.
Good luck on your hunt for the perfect one for you.

I have used paperangels and have been very happy. I think CTMH has an acrylic one.
I agree, I use Paper Angel also and I love them. One is a small one that reads: by Wendy with a flourish underneath it and the same one that says by Aunt Wendy. The family loves it. Another stamp I got here too is in the round you might say that is a little more formal which says Handmade especially for you by Wendy Moore. Lots of options here.

I tried paperangel. I ordered about 3 personalized stamps. They got my money and I never got my stamps or a response to emails. I had to file with Paypal for a refund. There is an amazing lady on EBAY in Malaysia who makes personalized clear stamps for like $5.00 to 7.00. I have gotten a bunch of them from her. It doesnt take long at all for her to make them and ship them off to you.
blessings.
I guess you ladies found her...it is loongchai74. I love love love her clear stamps. She sent the last one with a nice handle too. I probably have 12 or 15 different ones from her. Sorry I didnt post a link...lazy I guess.
blessings ladies.
There's another seller from Malaysia, loongchai74, that has a lot of great designs. Which one did you order from Amber?
I just ordered 3 from this seller. I loved the really tiny one w/ a hand print on each side that said "Hand stamped by." Then I got two others that I'm asking her to put "handcrafted by" instead of "custom made by". I should hear from her soon and will post back as to how I like them. I have 2 more on my ebay wishlist, so if I like them, I will go back.
Thanks so much ladies for helping me find someone to order these from.
I had to order a completely custom wood mounted rubber stamp for a friend, who asked me to make thank you cards for her wedding and then proceeded to hate every image I suggested (and every card design I came up with)
She ended up designing her own own image (and her card design), and I used simonstamp.com to have stamps made in several sizes.
I was very happy with the quality and price.
Although this experience made me never, ever want to make cards for people again.
Now, I just have to practice patience and wait for them........lol
I'm just reviving this thread because I received my stamps last Thursday..........much quicker than I thought since they were coming from Malaysia.
I've stamped with all 3 of them and even though they are not a soft, supple type polymer that I'm used to, the imprint is really crisp and clear. They arrived with a thin foam backing similar to EZ mount and are easy to use w/ the acrylic blocks.
So, if you were waiting for an update, I would say......Go for it. I'll be ordering from them again when I have a need for more personalized stamps.
My sister gave me one as a gift from paperangel.com, but it is wood mounted. However, there were so many designs to choose from at the time that I don't mind the slight compromise I had to make!

I am really not happy with the one I got from Stampin' Up! It's thin rubber and the edges always pick up ink when I don't want them to. I hate using it.
You can get them at whimsy stamps. I am not familiar with the quality of their custom stamps, but I do have some of their regular stamps and they are top quality.
I am so happy that you liked the Ebay person....I have an SU personalized stamp and it is terrible. Love the clear personalized ones from the person on Ebay in Malaysia.
blessings.
Hi,
Could n't you look in your yellow pages and find a few small businesses in your own town or close to where you live that make stamps rubber or polymer? Then you could make your own design and choose the sizes and all that yourself in person. I 'm sure it would be reasonable. You could chose mounted or unmounted whatever suits you. It doesn't take long either from my experience.
If you order from specifc companies they only have certain designs or choices available etc that you can choose from. Myself, I would rather be more original than having the same image as a hundred others.;)
I have seen a ton of these on ESTY and I think you can search for their references there, I also see many people on EBAY there where you can also check their background.
Would love to see what you get. I often think of getting one myself.
