Question Anyway to salvage ?????

Hi everyone! Time to ask the experts! I am sure this is a very silly question, but is there any way to salvage a card that has gotten wet on the bottom, some of the top?

I put HOURS into making a card - it came out exactly the way I hoped and left it on the dining room table. DD15 picked it up and walked to the kitchen looking at it, set it down on the kitchen counter with a water mark (from someone's drink, lol) and you guessed it - soaked through the bottom card stock to the top! Only the outer edge of the top was wet along the edge but it completely warped the paper. I thought about removing the top layers and replacing the cardstock, but some of the layers on top are also warbled - no water marks, just all lopsy)

I'm just curious and wonder if there's a way to salvage this that I might not know about

Thanks!

Can't give you any advice, but hope someone else can.

Maybe try ironing it out? I'd probably put something between your iron and card, but the heat/pressure might sort it out.

I've never actually tried this, but that would probably be my first shot.

Another vote for ironing. Medium heat, no steam, use printer paper on top and bottom to make a sandwich. I iron paper all the time as I do a lot of techniques on wet cardstock.

I would cut the front off and remount it on a new card base - just leave it to dry first. Ask me how I know!!!
