Hello All~
I have a customer that wants to know if the wheel guide works good? I don't have it so I have to ask on here to all of you informational ladies??
Any ideas would be much appriciated.
Thanks,
Shannon
My demo used it at my last show and it works great. We've always done diagonal lines because it was hard to space them just right. This makes it sooo easy! Can't wait to get mine now!
I love it. I got mine about a month ago but I finally used it for the first time the other day. Not one mistake! I have been really wheel challenged in the past but now I'm excited to use all the wheels that have been stored away because I was so frustrated.
I tried using a ruler in the past but that didn't work. Something about this guide keeps the wheel just right. I think it's because it's raised and it has the non slip feet. It's a must have IMO !

I am a demo but just for hobby so my buying is limited. I really debated about this purchase but bit the bullet once I saw how many other companies were putting it out. I LOVE IT!!! I have a little group of stampers that meets for fun each month and I will be bringing it to share for sure!!!
I keep seeing reference to this wheel guide but can't find it in the Stampin Up catalog. Could someone tell me where I can find it. I only have the large catalog for this year.
I love mine too. One great thing, if you are rolling your wheel, and part of the image is missing, you can re-rollin the other direction (as long as you didn't pick the wheel up) and fill it in. In other words, let's say you are rolling down towards yourself, and one side of the image didn't show up. Without lifting the wheel off the paper, you can roll up--away from yourself, and correct the mistake.
It can be found in the Winter mini that is good through the end of Feb. If you are not a demo call yours and I am sure she would be thrilled to get you one. It is called the Stampin' Around Wheel guide and it is $9.95.
I LOVE IT! I just tried it this weekend and immediatly sent an email to my customers pointing it out! It is a must have and I would assume that it will be in the new catty!
Anyone use the wheel guide? What do you think of it?
I love it and showed it to my customers and one already had to have it and most of the others are thinking hard about getting it soon.
I used it to make all my holiday wrapping paper and will use it here in a week to make my DH birthday wrapping paper.
I wouldn't be without it when I wheeling ever again.

I love it ! It makes it so easy to get awesome results with a wheel. Thank you, Michelle for the filling in tip. Wish I had read that before I wheeled all the Christmas paper. But I also should have had a second guide! What a GREAT idea!
I think every body should look in their Winter mini and order 1, or 2!
I love the wheel guide! I just ordered one for each of my two daughters to share with their daughters! I purchased wheels for my granddaughters for Christmas and now they will have the guides to help them wheel straight!
Thanks for starting this thread. I got mine a week ago and still haven't tried it because I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it or exchange it. I was kind of suprised when I got it because it looks like a ruler, but I guess once you put it together it is raised. I guess I will have to go and try it.
Love the silly thing!
Used it with Wash Day wheel and it was so perfect!
I no longer have to have excess cardstock to trim to account for my crookedness.
It makes me look good!

I also have it and love it. I have a workshop coming up next week and plan to demo. it. So many people have said they can't use the wheels because they can't keep it straight. Now they won't have any excuses!
I've always used my paper cutter to line up my wheels for my cards...now I have to order this!!!
I am a wheel addict anyway so what is 1 more something else for my collection!!
Wow! what a Huge respone to my question. I thank you all for replying to this thread. I am seeing that it is unanimous, it is definately a must have. I will give my customers these ideas and I know she will buy one now. As well as myself, I just have to have those must have items.
Thanks to all,
Shannon
So you all love it, can anyone explain how it works.
Does the wheel somehow lock onto the guide and give it even pressure or is it just to control a straight line.
I ask because I have a thick ruler I use to guide the wheel as I roll up aganist it. I just wonder if what I'm doing is the same thing the guide will do. It looks about the same thickness.
Thanks to Favoritestamper for a quick response last evening on where I could find a picture of it.

Rox,
It's about 1/4" thick. You don't latch anything, but put the wheel right up against it. There are two pieces to it that snap together in order to make 22" of guide or you can make a right angle for those mitered corners. Plus, you can see through it so you can overlap, leave a small space, etc. when wheeling. Added bonus, it's a ruler too.

I bought one and am very glad I did. After trying to wheel a straight line many times for a swap I was in, I discovered how difficult it is to do more than once. The wheel guide, it was also helpful at a workshop to decorate card stock for a can project. It is very helpful for beginners as it helps them have a straight line and not be so intimidated by being a beginner. I tried to use a ruler but it would slip.
The wheel guide comes in two pieces that snap together end to end to make it a good length. There are little rubber feet on it to hold it in place. You use it just like you would a ruler and pencil for drawing a straight line, just wheel right beside it.

I tried my demo's at my party on Saturday and I love it...I am getting it soon, I can't wait, I have 3 wheels that just sit there b/c I can never do anything straight but with this they are all perfect. Now I am going to have to order more wheels!!!

I was so glad to read the positive response to this question. My wheel guide is coming on Friday and I was wondering if it would be as helpful as I was hoping. It looks like it will be available in upcoming mini catalogs also. Happy Wheeling!
I'm addicted to the wheels and usually don't have a problem with them, but a few customers complain that they have a hard time wheeling. I decided to buy it so I could try it and then promote it. It is great!!!
I love how sturdy it is and that it snaps together so you can have it straight or at a right angle. I'm considering buying a second so they can all snap together and then I'll have a long ruler for posters and such.
I'm pretty sure that there was a thread going sometime back about the wheel guide (either that or I read it in a magazine) where someone said you can put your "spots" inside the track and create your own Spectrum-type pad for use with brayering. I haven't tried this, but it sounds interesting. Anybody out there tried this yet? Does it really open up lots of color combination possibilities, or is it a less-than-perfect alternative to Spectrum/Kaleidacolor pads? I'm very curious about this.
