I'm looking for some supplies that are hard to find. They not only appear to have the product but they have discounts that seem too good to be true, so I'm kind of wondering if anyone has ordered from them.
I don't think I can use Paypal which means I'd be giving my actual charge card info. Even with fraud protection I'm not so sure any discount is worth that. I don't want to risk identity theft
Hi Barb, I just took a chance on them myself recently and was able to pay with paypal. Ordered on 8/6. Received an email on 8/12 it shipped via USPS Priority Mail.. Currently waiting for the order. Expected delivery says Monday. - Karen
Thanks for letting me know. The home page only showed charge cards, no paypal and I didn't look further. I really want some Graphic45 Safari Adventure items which I can't find other places. With paypal to protect me I might just go ahead and order. ....
I have ordered from them more than once. I got the product fine. I do remember there was something odd about them....I'll go see if I can find the reciepts....
I have a dedicated CC that I only use for online with a low amt specifically to protect against hacking so I am not terribly afraid of using it directly though.
How I hooked up to them was because I was ordering through Artist Supply Source which I guess is part of S3, which is in Canada. When i saw the invoice from S3, I got confused. (Artist SS has some really good prices on dies)
Artist SS has two addresses-here in MI and in Canada. They shipped UPS ground from MI.

Makes sense. I do have a no loss card but I just wanted to be careful.
I just realized Artist supply is in your title. Wow. Talk about brain dead. I should be on that show. Sorry!
Let us know how it goes!
You would be saved like laurel. Your creative side would save you. (I love that show. When I try to explain it to someone who hasn't seen it I get the strangest looks....I must admit that I have far less tolerance of ants than I used to have.)

Finally got around to actually placing the order early Friday morning using Paypay. (I tend to put things in a shopping cart, wait a few days to make sure I want it, sometimes even open a different browser and do a new shopping cart then compare the two..... my way of justifying my orders to myself :p . I also happened to be really busy at work and didn't have time to place the order, didn't want to miss anything.)
By noon their time Friday I had a shipping email notice and the USPS shipping label was created. According to the tracking number info it's left the Chicago area and is supposed to be delivered at my SW Michigan location Monday. I'm really pleased and it was faster to ship than I expected.
Thanks for Sunday morning enabling session! I see that this company carries Clarity Stencil Brushes for less than $16 for the set!!!!!!! However they are currently out of stock, so my PayPal account can breathe a sigh of relief. ;)
And to update. Today, Monday, I received the order I place early Friday morning. Nicely packaged. Pretty darn quick turn around. I'm very pleased and will be ordering from them again.
Thought I would update this thread. I recently found the Tonic Studios Tangerine Die Cutting machine online through Artist Supply Source for a solid $70 off the manufacturers suggested retail of $199. I paid $129 and got free shipping also. Guess where it shipped from? Tonic Studios warehouse in central California--only an hour and a half from my home!
Artist Supply Source contacted me after I placed my order to confirm shipping address and let me know I should receive it in a week and I would be sent an email with tracking. I have to admit to being a bit nervous not using a 'bigger name' site (such as Scrapbook.com or Simon Says Stamp), but the sale and delivery went fine.
I received my Tangerine 4 days after ordering! I actually got the confirmation shipping email the day I received it which I chalk up to distance from the vendor vs. Tonic's warehouse. All in all I am very happy and it pays to really know your prices of what you want--their availability on items can be hit or miss, but I'm satisfied with my purchase.

A year ago, I placed my first order with them, 18 Tonic dies, and the entire order was cancelled by them. It took 8 days for them to realize that everything was "out of stock" except they still were on the website.... Later, I noticed they had increased the prices. I am guessing they didn't want to sell the dies to me at the prices on their website. I wrote to them and Dmitry Shikhov really had no apology for this.
