Anyone else have an "In Color" problem???
Oh my goodness! We're moving, and @ the old house I kinda had stuff stashed wherever it would fit. At the new house, I have a craft room (FINALLY!), and I brought over all the In Color stuff I had stashed. Uh....YIKES! And I haven't even stocked up on this year's colors that are retiring! Thankfully I only really like the red and pink!
My name is Michelle...and I have issues when stuff "retires"!
Look at the bright side. You've obviously figured out over the past few years that you don't need to stock up quite so much each year! You have a lot less of the more recent colors than you do of the first batch.
That's too funny. But that's exactly why I won't buy into the "In Color" promo at all, no matter how much I like the color. I know me and I struggle enough with "retiring" sets without worrying about colors too.
Red Riding Hood is an amazing red and probably the hardest one I've had to resisit.

Wow girl! You have more than I do, and I was feeling guilty that I had so much. Can I buy some of yours?!?! No, I don't have a problem with retired In-Colors. ;)

But, don't those colors all look so lovely sitting on your shelf there!

WOW, what a stash! You could wallpaper your new craft room with "in colors" LOL

Ok, I think those 2 pictures helped me decide not to go overboard with buying a stash of this years in colors.
I'm another one that will be happy to take some Purely Pomegranate c/s off you hands. I got the purely pomegranate ink cube in some kit and I love it, but it is all I have.

You will notice that I am NOT posting any pictures of my stash. You, my dear sweet friend, are an amateur. ;) I have a problem. I readily admit it. Trust me, you will use that up in no time now that you have a craft room!
I have a pile like that too...I have 11 Cool C packages....I have already stocked up on this years incolors that I love...I am sure I will have at least 11 packages of kk,pp and bb for this years...I do use it...sometimes...lol but do not want to be caught without it.
Mine is all in file cabinet drawers so it doesnt get faded.
blessings.
I just moved into a another unit here on base. I kept all my in colors in differet drawers. I only unpacked my SU paper. I put all the in colors in one drawer. I thought I had a lot of in color paper! You bet me hands down!!! I was considering not buying this years in colors cause I have so much from past years, I am running out of room! At least you have lots of storage space!

Same here. Except that I am now using Pink Pirouette in place of Pretty in Pink. PP is such a prettier shad of pink so I'll be sticking with PP from now on. Guess I better buy a few packs of that one!
I don't feel so bad about the bits of retired in color stuff that I have anymore. I really love though that you have the measuring tape in front of the pile. Wouldn't have even thought to measure the stack

You are certainly a pro paper collector!! LOVE IT!! I'm trying to resist Pink Pirouette because I do not really need to buy the ink, reinker and two packages of it. You can see I am an amateur, as I'd only buy two packs and not use them up in a year! I am buying baja breeze...I will buy the ink and reinker for that. I bought one package a few months back but not the ink. I bought pacific point ink because I saw a cute CAS card using pp stamped with birthday hats on white. Very simple and cute and easy! I also love cool caribbean and only had one pack and still have about 1/4 of it left! I may cave on the Pink P yet!!!
I love the colors, so sad, that I might have to let go of my demoship.
ITs getting really hard with hubby laid off.
that I might have to let it go. I have another month to try and see but I doubt I will be able to. I dont sell SU, it was mainly for me, but will have to let it go.
I feel your pain bc I over did it (not quite so much) on the first year of in colors. Then I learned that I really do not need more than a pack or maybe two of my favs. in my stash for just that moment when I still need purely pom or CCarrib (and sometimes I do). I also make it a practice to always get the re-inkers and use "ghetto" pads (dollar store pads that I rinse out and re-ink) so I always have a matching ink.
But here's my deal, I LOVE LOVE LOVE to be a able to match colors! I'm just a "BIG BOX" of crayon girl so the more colors I have in my stash the better. So I say, sell all but one or two packs, buy that many again of the new colors, before they go, with the money you make. You'll have more "crayons" and can hoard those puppies till the paper rots if you want and not feel hoarders remorse.
This year's In Colors are killing me!!! I love each and everyone of them and can't imagine being without my Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette and Kiwi Kiss. The other three I won't lose sleep over but I will still miss them. My favorite three I will get several packs of those and just a couple of the other three. I have gone thru many many packs of BB, PP and KK and slightly less of the other three. I will also make sure I have plenty of DSP to match and ribbon and maybe an extra reinker of my top three favs.

Wow! This thread has just cemented my continuing resolve to not go crazy stocking up on ANYTHING that's about to retire, since most of it just sits in the closet anyway once the new stuff comes along! ;) Right now I'm forcing myself to use up a three-inch-thick stack of retired DSP on my craft show inventory -- decorating my sizeable stock of composition books has already made a nice dent!

I do pretty good with NOT buying a lot of the In Colors. I usally buy one combo pack and then see if I use it. However, I do have an almost full pack of Vintage Violet that I will probably never use. I have no idea why I bought it in the first place - just not my kind of color.
Now Pink Piroutte - I love it, love it, love it. I'm stocking up because it's the pink I been searching for and if I had any say in the matter, I think SU should make it a regular color and dump one of the other pinks.
I have unopened packs of the original In-Colors and unopened stamp pads w/refills. What am I waiting for?? I do wish I'd stocked up on PP and River Rock...I use them both a lot and will run out soon. I'm okay on this year's colors...wonder what's in store in the new catalogue?
I LOVE it! I am a color lover and do stock up on in colors, or hunt them down on ebay My plan in the next month and a half is to make sure I have...
4 packs Riding Hood Red
4 packs Pink Pirouette
4 pakcs Baja Breeze
3 packs Pacific Point
2 packs Kiwi Kiss
1 pack Tangerine Tango
PLUS one open pack of each, the one on the shelf. I can't wait to see all the new in colors, demos can see them on June 1 I think!

I'll really miss Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red ! I, also, liked Marigold Morning, River Rock, Soft Sky, Cool Carribean and urely Pomegranate. I love paper and its a big dilemma to decide how much to buy to cover all "necessities." LOL!!! Oh well!!! Such is life!
Hello, My name is Kristi and I have a problem!
I abused my checkbook on Purely Pomegranate and Cool Caribbean.
I plan to cont this abuse with baja breeze and Pink Pirouette.
Intervention welcome!

Thanks Girls...now I don't feel so weird! :-D The main reason I have so much isn't because I haven't USED any of it, I actually had more than this originally! There are just some great colors, and when you buy the DSP that matches, you HAVE to have plenty of the CS on hand to match, right? Right? RIGHT? ;-) I DO plan on spending a LOT of time in my new craft room making up LOTS of card sets that will seriously help me use up a lot of this stuff! I think my Christmas cards this year will also have to use True Thyme and Cranberry Crisp CS and matching DSP. It's been a few years, so it's nice to be able to go back to those colors!
I promise I won't go overboard in stocking up this year...mainly just the Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette! :-D
I never stocked up on much (a little bit) I can't use what I have so it sits. If I had stocked up I could use it, but with small amounts it will be gone. LOL!
