My Granddaughter is going to be 5 and wants a Hannah Montana party any of you creative people have any ideas?
Her mom wants to make individual cupcakes with doll body picks and asked me to make little purses for the doll to hold. I thought the tab punch folded and then the small and oval punch for the handles.
Any one have other ideas for favors, invites or decorations. They have a ton to buy but I though making them would be fun. My granddaughter loves to stamp and she is very good at it. She will occasionally huff a stamp because she has seen me do it. Thanks can't wait to hear your replies.
My DD is also a huge Hannah fan and we almost had that theme last year. Here are a few of the favor ideas we had:
- burn CDs with a few favorite songs, you can make a case cover that says favorites and the year (great keepsake for later too!)
- small microphones from the dollar store
- Target has cute little Hannah make-up sets that you could give for prizes (about $5 each)
- I've seen little Hannah montana notebooks at stores like the Limited Too, Claire's, etc
- Stickers (they have them at Mike's) or just anything "star" or "rock star" related
Good luck, I'm sure the party will be a blast!

I think your purse idea is super cute!! Have you seen that Rock Star slab of paper? That would be great to use for making invites and favor bags. I would use lots of glitter or stickles on the invites. Maybe make a guitar out of the SU scallop punch and small circle and the word window. (Does that make sense?) For the favor bags, you could get those clear cellophane bags and use the paper as a topper.
Creative Memories just came out with Hannah Montana scrapbook kit with great stickers and paper that could easily be used in a paper project! It's in their new Disney line.
My DD had a HM party for her birthday this last fall. We were going to have HM karaoke and do make up and nails and the hair. DH nixed the idea of an at-home party and instead we went to the gymnastics place, but it was still all HM invites, paper products and little goodie boxes filled with girly nail polish, lip gloss, stickers, things like that.....good luck!

I saw the paper for sale on eBay the other day. It is cute. But if you want to check out Michaels, they have HM stickers that I bought my 7 year old fan. I agree with the Rock Star paper from DCWV. Just google HM birthday party ideas and you'll find stuff to do.

I was just going to suggest this!! I am a CMC and am currently working with my new Disney Line while browsing SCS! It would be fun to have each girl do a page! You can have them bring some photos to the party and they would just love completing it.
If you decide to go with this idea-let me know if I can be of any assistance.
You can also create Hannah Montana Page Prints (available now) thru CM.
PS the new line is out June 1st-so it would depend on when the party is.
Hi! I have used the web site birthdaypartyideas.com several times for my kids parties. They have a lot of great ideas, just search for Hannah Montana. Maybe that will help?
Um, if you have a cricut and the tags. bags and boxes cartridge, you could make purses (cut one inch) for the dolls and then matching purses could be cut larger (6 in) for the girls to decorate. I made a "barbie" purse for my DD using the smallest setting and this cartridge. Very cute!
Kids' abilities at age 5 can really vary. Be careful if you go this route.
This is true-however children 5 and up can use a basic tape runner (I can speak for the CM tape runner-I have had young children use it before)
Children don't need to do cropping and trimming-they would be happy just mounting their pictures. You could prepunch some fun images for them to mount. And they could do some basic journalling if they are able. The album kits come with fun title stickers and HM stickers.
