Default Am I the Only one...

That goes and reads past comments on my cards when I need my ego stroked a little bit, lol? Makes me feel good to read everyone's comments. Does that sound bad to admit that out loud?:rolleyes:

No, you're not the only one. I do the same thing, although I don't have many comments to read through.

I used to....but seeing as I don't get very many comments at all (which made me feel NOT good at all)....in the gallery here, I tend not to upload here ....rather to my blog where I get steady comments every day.

I love to hear feedback about my work and yes, it does stroke the ego just the teeniest bit....but...when you are feeling uncreative that can be the best thing to get you going again.

For me, it is confirmation that people ARE actually looking at my stuff which for me is wonderful and that in turn just plain makes me feel good....

Can't be anything wrong in that.

You can always go to the COMMENT THREADS. (General Stamping)
You go to the persons post before you, and comment on 2 of their cards, then the next person to come along will comment on 2 of your cards.

This can be fun, and you can get some "needed" comments.

Sometimes we all just need to hear a little something nice about our work!!

I only have one card in the gallery and it has 1 comment. I also look just to get a boost of confidence. Hope to upload more of them soon.

I also have (very) few that have been favorited a number of times-I visit those when I feel my mojo is not working fully. "Ok, this new card isn't so great, but I *can* make great cards!"

I love the feedback and comments I receive on my blog! Like shellpole said, it's confirmation that people ARE checking it out, and I like to know what people liked about that particular card or whatever. I also love it when I've inspired someone - that's the best part!

Glad to see I'm not alone, lol! And the first time I got cased I was as giddy as a kid on Christmas morning. I looked at the thumbnail and thought, hey that looks a lot like a card I did. Opened it up and sure enough I got credit for it, made my day...ok maybe it made my week, lol.

I do this too, but I also look at how many views I've gotten. Many people are like me and don't leave alot of comments due to time, but if they've taken the time to look at my cards, I take it as a compliment.

I LOVE reading what anyone says about my card. It gives me the warm fuzzies....I also try to leave comments especially on cards that show over 100 views and no comments - what's with that?
