I will be presenting a lesson to my stamping club on adhesives in about a month.
If any of you have a handout that would be appropriate . . . or archives in this website or another about adhesives I would really appreciate that information.
I know it is a HUGE subject but what is YOUR favorite adhesive, what do you use it on and why do you like it best?

My favorite adhesive for CARDMAKING is Scotch double-sided tape. I have one of those black tape dispensers like you would have on your office desk just for that and get the yellow-boxed refills for the dispenser at the offiice supply store.
I like it because it is VERY sticky and doesn't gum up, with the dispenser I can pull off as much or little piece that I want and put it directly where I want to, and I can buy in bulk at the office supply store when I pick up paper and toner for my computer.
Although the double-sided Scotch tape is acid free and photo safe, and I use it for adhering the cardstock and paper to each other in SCRAPBOOKING, I do like the CM tape runner for the back of the photos. I have tried a lot of other adhesives and I just feel more comfortable with that on the back of my photos and it also is super sticky and don't worry about my photos falling off. (I had the hermafix dotto permanent adhesive but it kept sticking to itself, couldn't get it to unstick out of the handheld dispenser most of the time, and so that was a pain). However I can only get it from my CM consultant so it is kind of a pain in that regard since I feel funny just picking up a pack of that when I go there, so I feel obligated to get more stuff to make the trip over there worthwhile and end up with more stuff that I don't really need since I have a big stockpile of stuff already!
So - summary, Scotch acid-free double-sided tape, yellow box - fave for cardmaking and for the papers in scrapbooking. CM tape runner for backs of photos in scrapbooking.
