Default Adhesive on cards you sell or keep for a while

I have been using Tombo snail permanent tape for my cards, but I notice after time, it seems to loose its stickyness and heavy fronts (layered) fall apart. I've started selling my cards to friends and I don't want them to fall apart if they don't use them for a while-how embarrassing. I'm wondering what other people selling their cards use (or people who just want their cards to last). Thanks, Shirley

Mono multi in the white and green bottle or Scotch tacky glue work GREAT! They are white glues formulated not to wrinkle paper. I've never had a problem with anything coming unglued, the tips on both brands are very fine and allow you to put a tiny bead of glue around the piece you're sticking down, and a little goes a long way. The mono multi is now in the SU catty, if that's important to you. And they both are acid-free for scrapping.

For heavy layers I always use Mono Multi or ZipDry. They hold forever!

yeah, mono multi rocks. Just wish I could buy it locally (it was out of stock at both on-line places I last ordered from)...you really need to try it...remember that a little goes a long way so a really tiny bead of it along your layers is more than sufficient...oh, and don't glue right next to the edge as it will ooze a bit. I like to go in about 1/8" from the edge of what I'm gluing.

Definitely Mono Multi! You won't ever have to worry about your cards falling apart. That's why I switched!

I use double sided tape. I started stamping over ten years ago and still have a few old cards from them and they are still stuck together.

I use Mono Multi as well!! You have just enough time and wiggle room to get the layers straight, but after that you'll have to pry it apart with a crowbar!!
Love it!!

I use ATG but have recently purchased the Mono Multi. I have not used the Mono Multi yet. I do so many cards for the soldiers and ladies if you use the mono snail...they do fall apart. I have heard many say not their cards but the boxes I receive of card fronts say that mono snail does fall apart. I spend hours upon hours repairing these card fronts to mount and get to our troops..

It's the ATG for me. It takes a little while to learn to use it but it is great once you have it mastered.

I've tried it all, ATG, Tombo permanent, glue sticks, Zots, etc. Hands down, Scotch Quick Dry. Like Grecian, a little dab'll do ya'. Nothing beats white glue for steadfastness and it's a low moisture formula so rippling is at a minimum as long as you spread it thin and use a small amount. I actually like Elmer's white glue, but you have to use very little and work quickly so as not to ripple paper and leave smudges. It's not something you should try without first experimenting a great deal with it.

For heavily layered cards I do the atg around the edge and a squiggle of mono in the middle for peace of mind.

I use Aleen's Clear Tacky Gel. It sticks very well, and gives you a little 'wiggle' room before it sets up permanently.
