I got myself the Fiskars postal scissors & I copied the subject tutorial
so now I need to know which is better to use for making the template, and where to get the best price. I'm guessing I just need a small quan-
tity of which ever is the best choice. Thanks in advance for replies!
I found it at STAPLES. They only had boxes of 100 sheets which was very expensive ($75.00) The store had a copy center where I was a ble to purchase single sheets. They cost $.45 each. When I asked for acetate I got blank stares but they realized what I wanted when I explained I wanted clear sheets used for overhead projectors. Hope this helps!
I actually bought a piece of blank stencil plastic (what do you call that stuff anyway?) in the craft section at WalMart. I was able to cut out my template using an exacto knife and it's very durable.
I used the SU window sheets (item #101249). You get 3 sheets for $2.95. I used these for a stamp club that I have. There were 12 of us and I only used 2 sheets. We were able to make 12 faux postage cards and 12 valentine shaker cards with the Window Sheets!!!!

Jessica,
Your Walmart find excites me (doesn't take much!) because as you said,
it's durable. While I'm there I can pick up the Oxi-Clean & check out the
gingham ribbon! OOOOHHHH! "Stuff" for 3-plus projects in one fell
swoop! does it get any better than this? Thanks to you, and to all the
other nice ladies who replied! I love you guys!
Try the 1/8" 3M post it correction tape - sold at office stores, target, etc. It is removeable and you can tape it down where you want the 'spaces' and then remove it.... no residue.
