Post ? about demo and blogs

I was wondering if anyone could clear up this confusion about Stampin' Up demonstrators and blogs? I had heard that SU demo aren't allowed to say where they got a certain products - such as from hobby lobby/michaels? I had thought that it's impossible to have one company to carry everything so I'd like to understand where the HQ thinks that it's okay to somewhat dictate your blog?

I hope I am not stepping on anyone's toes, but I just wanted to understand the whole blogging deal before I make my final decision.

Thanks

I don't want to copy/paste straight from the Demonstrator Manual, but after just reading the section regarding this issue, it can be summed up by saying demonstrators may not actively promote or sell a competitive product. It can be mentioned casually, but should be referenced generically. A link to a source where the item can be purchased, for example, would be a violation.

As for the the thought that one company could carry everything: I, along with several other demonstrators, are 100% Stampin' Up! only. Some people may not agree with that, for some reason, but it's what I prefer.

Stacey -
Thank you for your reply. That does clear it up about referring things. I appreciate you taking the time to clear that up.
