So what the thought on the 2013-2014 catalog from Stampin' -Up?.
I sure wish it had all the holiday stamps in it.
I don't like getting mini's as they don't always find there way to my mail box. Not to much to impress me.

I'm disappointed in the catalog. There is nothing to entice me that I haven't already got or that another company has already offered. I guess that's the problem with catalog sales; by the time the catalog gets into the hands of the customers, the items are already dated or are repeats of what other companies have made available in stores. Not too many outstanding stamps either. The only thing I really like is the Crisp Cantaloupe paper, but the shipping and tax costs more than the paper, so I guess I'll have to pass on that one.
I like the minis. My demo is pretty good about making sure I get one, but if you don't get one in the mail, they are available online. That, and there are enough demos on here I'm sure there is someone who would help you out with a mini if you miss getting it.
That said, it will be a bit weird to have no holiday stamps at all in the regular catty. But I never fail to end up with a long wish list from the catty and I'm sure this year will be no different.

I am liking it very much. I have the biggest wish list yet with this catalog. For the first time in years I have multiple stamp sets that I would like to purchase. I wish it did have holiday sets in it too, but, I guess we just have to wait for the mini I cannot wait to get my hands on it!
I will say that NO Christmas stamps upset me in my stamping group our Christmas cards are most important so we are impatiant to see the new sets but there are none. But I will say other than that I LOVE the catalog, there are ALOT of sets that I can't wait until June 1st to order.

FYI there are some holiday sets that are available that are not in the catalog:
Evergreen Stamp Set (available in French)
Greetings of the Season Stamp Set (available in French)
Jewish Celebrations Stamp Set
More Merry Messages Stamp Set (available in French)
Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set
Snowflake Soiree Stamp Set (available in French and Spanish)
I miss the holiday stamps as well but I'm excited for the mini...as if I need to be thinking of THAT when the big catalog hasn't even gone live yet, lol! I have problems....
I love the new catalog and the Holiday Catalog will be available in August, plenty of time to make Christmas cards for me. I especially love the new InColors this year.

It would have been nice if Stampin Up! had included a one sheet summary in the new catalog of the Christmas stamps that are still available, like they did in the Spring mini with stuff still available from the Fall mini.

Just visited the SU website. Looks as if there's virtually nothing left in Christmas stamps. Am I missing something? (Wouldn't be the first time !!)
I like the layout of the colors pages and I LOVE the new In Colors! My only problem is that there are 3 things that I really really want but together they total $73! As much as I love SU and have pretty much always been a cheerleader for them, I am beginning to discover other companies whos products are just as nice and far less money. The day I checked the price of the Petite Pocket die was the day SU sort of fell down a notch in my book.

I love the new catty, but I've only seen it online so far. It is, in my opinion, much better than last years. I am able to find the products easily. They have at least two bundles I want and several stamps too. I am loving the new colors as well.

I have to agree after studying the new catalog in detail last night. Since card making for a year and a half now, I've discovered a number of online companies through this forum whose styles I more closely identify with and who offer more at a more reasonable cost. The look is very sleek and contemporary and I do appreciate that SU labeled the colors used in the sample card designs. However, this is the same common catalog marketing design I see in the multitude of free catalogs I receive in the mail. I miss the SU catalogs of previous years that so beautifully highlighted their multitude of wonderful card examples. Last year's SU catalog design and now this year's has a look that would appeal more to "Pottery Barn" and "Crate and Barrel" aficionados.

Reason: errors
It's good. I am my only customer and I won't have any problem meeting the minimum. Love the new in colors--they are fun. I think we have so much available from so many companies and so many blogs to digest that we often get 'product overload'. Often we are bored but we really don't know what we want. Kind of like a kid with too many toys!

When is it possible to buy items that are retired from this catty ? or can you still purchase a set ? Thank you !
The only places I know to buy retired SU products is here on SCS in the Buy/Sell forum or on Ebay.
SU does not sell their retired items.

Some sets are in multiple catalogs if it carried over. If it's still in the current catalog you can still get it through a demo. Retired items are found on ebay and here as stated above. What set are you looking for?
