I have been looking EVERYWHERE & I can not find 12x12 file folders or even a case of some sort to hold the folders! I saw that a lot of you are making the file index for all the colors (great idea BTW) & I want to do the same but can only find letter or legal size file folders & cabinets/cases.
HELP!
I really don't want to buy them on line if I don't have to. I can imagine a box of them would be heavy so the shipping would be really high to get here.
Did you look in the gallery under "paper storage"? I did this and found a wonderful (and cheep) idea for 12 X 12 shelves. I bought the cubes they describe at Target, but later found out they are even cheeper at Costco. I'm very happy with what I came up with, and if you've go the space, I'm sure you will be also - the nicest part is that the vellum 12 X 12 doesn't get bent funny like it did when I tried to stand it between my file cabnet and the wall...
I found an awesome paper storage box at The Container Store. It's clear and has a nice hinged lid. So, no dust in my paper. The dimensions are: 14" x 14" x 3-1/8" h Beware, if you order online there is a $1 surcharge because it is considered oversized. I don't have this store near me. So, when I was in the Chicago area and I called ahead and had them hold 10 for me. They'll hold items for 48 hours. I ended up buying 13 boxes. I used several of them for xmas gifts for the scrappers in my family. I use one for each color family.
