I'm somewhat embarrassed to say I have been my own Santa many times over this fall with stamping supplies LOL I just got an Amazon gift card from a friend, and thought I would buy a chef's pan I've been wanting, or a Kindle book, but no, it all went on crafting supplies! The wish list never get shorter, and never gets crossed off. I partially blame Blitsy, and Jennifer McGuire technique videos :-) Couldn't be happier though!
Yes ... I gave hubby access to my amazon wish list (after I bought the items I need/want before mid-January). One year I forgot to update my list and received a gift from him I had already purchased. Luckily it was a consumable (reinkers or adhesives probably) so now I shop for me mid-October through CyberMonday. If I want him to get pricy items I send him links by email so he can shop the Thanksgiving sales.
It's my only hobby and I don't go to Starbucks so unless he wants the torture of buying me clothes I am getting craft goodies (and/or gift cards to craft stores, amazon, etc.)
I know I have some journal pens I asked for under there and he picked up other non crafty stuff I wanted. But there is one thing he bought I don't know what it is - will find out later tonight. other than that, no one else will be buying crafty stuff for me
Absolutely Yes!!!!
and I have already started receiving it.
My husband purchased the Fun Stampers Journey Kit of the Month for me for the next 6 months!
WooHoo!

No, I don't want any stamping goodies! Everyone thinks I have too much now! I believe my DIL is making me photo canvas scrap pages to put in a plate hanger, other than that no scrapping/stamping supplies for me. I'm my own Santa all year long..........
Well, I just got my MISTI which was my main present from my hubby...but I did share my Amazon wishlist with him and with my first-born daughter...so I hope more crafty things are coming my way!
Thanks Sophie! Is there something I have to add to my toolbars to do it?
I haven't used mine in a few years, so I tried it again just now. Nothing you have to add to your toolbar. But you have to have an Amazon account. Once you set it up, hover your mouse over "Your Account" on the top right corner of the page. The 3rd item down is "Your Wish List". Click on that and it'll have a box saying "I want" and then you can copy and paste urls (website addresses or links) to the box.
My husband bought me my first Copics ( a BUNCH of them!) for Christmas. I ordered them on black friday and have gotten to play with them all month. FUN!

Usually don't get stamping goodies, but Santa came early this year. A gal on craigslist had a Accucut Grandemark machine and wanted to trade it for a Mark IV machine due to space issues when moving. I had an extra Mark IV so decided to trade her. We were actually going to her town for a birthday party, so did the trade in person. I bring the machine home get a counter all set up for it, Set up the machine only to discover IT does not work............The handle turned but the cutting roller did not. The machine was brand new. I told Hubby about it, he took it apart and the gears were assembled incorrectly. they were in there so there was no way the gears would drive the roller. He reassembled it correctly and it is like new. That is the best Christmas present I could have gotten. I have been busy cutting stuff like crazy...................He is my Santa and Christmas Elf all rolled into one.
There is a possibility that my daughter might buy me something small, maybe a new punch or something. But not likely from any other source. Like someone mentioned, I am my own Santa I know what I need and also what are the best deals or sales so I like to take care of my own crafting needs.
I only asked for 3 copics. I pretty much made all my Christmas cards from my stash. I really don't need anything, want maybe but I have enough for now.

I must have been a very good girl this year because I received a totally unexpected gift from a totally unexpected Santa: 19 PTI stamp sets. None of which I owned, all of which I love. The enclosed card read "Something magical happens..."
Something magical indeed!

I'm glad to read of the crafty goodies received (especially the unexpected ones). I received lots of crafty things including lots from Impression Obsession. I forgot I sent him my wish list with their Thanksgiving sale code!
DH was equally surprised as he kept opening his presents. After a few he said ... "You got me this!" and I said you had an amazon list. Another few and he said something similar so I said (again) you had an amazon list but emphasized "had". LOVE using points to shop!
And when the points ran out, I clicked through the SCS link to make it a Moddy Christmas.
Our employee gave me a $25 Amazon card so I will get some things on my Wish List! Tough decisions to be made though! I see Amazon browsing in my future today!
Oh, and my honey gave me Copper Hands fingerless gloves to wear when I'm crafting because I have been having issues with my right thumb. He saw the gloves and remembered that I've had problems off and on for a year so he thought they might help. They do seem to be keeping my hands warm!

I got what I asked for from my honey - I put some dies and a stamp set from Clearly Besotted in my online cart then passed my laptop to him, and he bought them for me for Christmas (kept them under wraps until this morning!)
Now we've had Christmas lunch I need to clear the tablecloth etc off the dining table and return it to its regular use so I can try my new toys out ;)
I have a couple Cricut Cartridges on my Amazon Wish List and I saw some boxes arrive this week ;)
My DH was so happy to be able to get some "crafty" items for me for Christmas I would like, some years he's guessed ... and I was happy too! Very fun to get some Cricut Cartridges, can't wait to play :o

I posted this on organization, my DH took me to IKEA yesterday and I picked out 2 Alex cabinets, 6 Bekvam spice racks for my ribbon and 6 Antonius tray inserts to separate some of the myriad of tiny doodabies I have accumulated. What a sweet thing for him to do!
My hubby got me the Lawn Fawn Snow Day paper pack, along with store bucks to use at my local stamp shop. I thought that was so sweet of him, especially considering that stamp stores are not exactly familiar territory for him (kinda like how I feel in a bike shop! LOL) He also got me the new book from Jenny Doh called "Creative Pilgrimage", which looks really cool! Can't wait to go shopping!
I placed very large orders at MFT (90% off sale) Dies R Us (Taylored Expressions) yesterday and today Dies R Us (Dianamites and Sue Wilson Dies) and a nice order from Verve yesterday too....now to stalk the delivery people MFT will be here Tues!

My sweet hubby gave me 2 corner chompers so now I can have perfectly rounded corners in different sizes. Plus a Lawn Fawn stamp set and matching dies and the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scallop borders. Wow - I was so thrilled I am so lucky that my DH is so supportive of my crafting.
