Default Wood shapes

I see a lot of these, but how exactly do you use them for card making? I googled but didn't find anything.
Thanks so much.

you can stamp on them or just use them as is - like you would any embellishment on a card. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...61.YECtABQK_mg

I think of them the same as a paper die cut.

If I want to cover them with ink I apply a layer of Gesso so I have a white background for the ink so that the ink is a true color. I also cover with paper.

I had some butterflies and dragon flies, I stained them with some alcohol ink and glued them on a mini album. They look so cute. I'm lovin' the wood.

You can use for mixed media on canvas, with texture pastes. Or for a highly dimensional layout in a shadow box

I had one shaped like a dog. I put it on a card, but wasn't too impressed or happy with it. Made the card to heavy, to me.

I have some Woodsie shapes and I've embossed them before, just spritz with water and then wait a few minutes. You want them good and damp on the top layers but not dripping wet. Finer detailed shapes might crack or chip though.

Thank you for the tips and link. They are in all the craft stores and I've always wondered about them!
