Where can you buy these stamps by Whipper Snapper Designs? So far I've found www.whippersnapperdesigns.com but their shipping seems high. $7.95 for an unmounted stamp? I found gvarnies.com but they don't have what I want. Was wondering if there's any other place I can order this from.
You can try addictedtorubberstamps.com, I don't know what discounts they have on shipping. I've also noticed that there's not an option for mounted/unmounted. you might want to email them or give them a call to find out.

I'm in the same boat, luv2bmom. Addict to Rubber Stamps didn't seem to have any of the new ones I wanted and I was surprized at the shipping on the WSD site. I've got three sets holding in my basket at WSD and 6 items holding at ATRS. I'm hoping for a sale!

And yes, shipping is high. Living in HI I paid $10 shipping twice. But refused to pay the new increase of $14 to HI. Had an order shipped to my parents house when I was visiting, then went in on a group order here on SCS.
I think WS has one of the highest shipping, but the orders are shipped by priority USPS. You get your order real quick!!

I'd agree with Leslie. Subscribe to their mailing list. There was a $3 discount earlier this week, but it was for three days only, finishing yesterday. I always save my purchases for when they offer some discount.

I stop there everytime we go to visit my SIL and her family.
I have wanted WhipperSnapper stamps for a couple of years now, but I just cant get myself to pay their high shipping for unmounted stamps.
So I just go somewhere else to spend my money. Maybe one day when I hit the lottery LOL
Whipper Snapper sends out coupon codes every once in a while but it's usually not a huge amount. I wait until there are enough items that I want to make my order.

Doesn't the post office have flat rate boxes for like $5.00 or something? $3.00 for handling still seems high. Especially when they're unmounted and could fit an an envelope. But I broke down and ordered 3 stamps. Can't risk that they might have a sale before Valentine's day.

I think I just got one of these. So maybe in a couple of weeks there will be another one?? Shipping is a little high, but certainly not the MOST expensive s/h around. Like Longaberger baskets for example.

I always got my WS orders by UPS, I wish they sent it Priority Mail, which is A LOT cheaper. UPS rates are better for bigger, heavier packages, but not UM stamps, IMHO.

My 3 orders that i placed in the past that came here to hawaii were in a prioity box. usps is more afforable here than ups!

I love WS stamps too but I hate the high shipping fee, especially if they are all unmounted rubber. They had a nice sale (20% off all stamps) right before Christmas, so that's when I made a purchase. My discount paid for the shipping & a little extra. I'm waiting for the next big sale to make another purchase. Sign up on their website to receive sale announcements.
They have a Facebook page(if you don't already belong to it) and just had a post about their shipping and why they ship they way they do/explained the costs.

I was there today & they didn't have any unmounted stamps out. That is a separate sale they have once or twice a year.
The sale is not posted on the Creative Pals website. You have to be on their email list to get notices of their sales.

Let's address shipping first to help you understand. We no longer ship USPS because too many of our packages were supposedly "lost". Unfortunately, these costs would then have to be passed on to you the customer. UPS provides us the insurance and tracking abilities which have eliminated the USPS issue. Unfortunately, a few have ruined it for the many. Most have concerns because they are buying cling or unmounted images, yet it costs us just as much in labor, packaging and processing. In fact it costs more to process a small order than a larger order. We have shipping specials all the time that reduce shipping by $5.00 ($2.95 costs to you). We actually dropped shipping costs 6 months ago by $1.00 and have absorbed the loss. For Canadian customers we have dropped shipping by $2.00 and do ship Priority USPS because of the huge taxation they were receiving from importation. For all International shipping we have not charged the customer additional shipping fees when their package exceeds $14.95. We chuckle when people tell us that they can get free shipping from Addicted to Rubber Stamps but don't realize that they are paying 15% - 20% more for each of the stamps. This is just a simple explanation and is not meant to cause controversy.

I know that doesn't make shipping cheaper (unless there's a special), but it at least helps me understand why things are the way they are. I also know that if I'm gonna pay lots of money for stamps, I like them to be insured in case they don't make it to me...that way they can be replaced quickly and easily.
And like I said above, your LSS (or one close-ish to you), might be willing to do a special order for you...I always ask mine if there's something special I want or can't find just anywhere (and if I don't want to pay shipping ;) ). Never hurts to try!
