"Those darn 40% off coupons from JoAnns/Roberts Crafts!! Just because they are there, I feel the compulsion to drive over and buy something with them whether I need it or not!! (generally it's "NOT" ) I've got so many new stamps, paper, supplies etc, I don't have any room to stamp anymore!! My stuff is swallowing me whole!! HELP!! "
I had to double check the name because that is exactly what I would say & do....I just spent $39.00 at Robert's today, & I was there yesterday as well but I only spent $18.00. Of course I was there this past Friday & Saturday because they had the 50% Coupon!
Roberts is mostly a Utah basedStore, & they have a 40% off coupon that you can use everyday! WOO-HOO!! :o)
My addiction is looking for ideas in magazines & websites - especially Splitcoast Stampers. Have to thank(??) ShouldStampMore for introducing me to this site, however, I spend so much time on SCS that:
1) I don't get enough stamping done; and
2) I finish surfing this site & then can't fall asleep 'cos of all the ideas flying through my head.
I'm sure if I could pull myself away from here, I could get more sleep & stamp more cards, however...just have to look at one more stamp set in the Gallery...have to check the Swap forum for another Canadian swap...have to check to see the other cards posted today...have to check for any new tutorials...have to check to see what new cards Beate/Dartella/etc. have posted lately...have to check for the new Sketch Challenge...have to check to see if anyone has the Wolf set for sale...have to check the Techniques forum for an answer to my post... have to check...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm with StampingCaz. I love the shopping for new goodies and I read magazines and this website constantly for ideas and what is the newest craze. I then go rushing out on my shopping trips and relax, ready to try all my goodies.
My hubby then gets home from work and I hear the usual refrain of "You are not on that dining table stamping again!"
I hoard all of the pretty stuff...designer paper, doodads, etc. I can't bring myself to use it because I want to make sure I have it when I do a special project.
I have to tear the edges on at least one layer of my cards, end of a tag, etc. I can't get over it...have to do it!
Tearing, direct to paper, and I am having SERIOUS copper issues!!! I have to have copper everything!!! Copper cord, copper EP, copper edge tags, copper tags, brushed copper paper. Did I leave anything out?
I also can't seem to place an order without ordering more cardstock (I guess I really am a cardstock collector!)
I'm also really into French Script right now.
BTW- creamy caramel is a good color to go along with copper
Did I mention I like copper?

Direct to paper... I just can't stop it. I have to do EVERYTHING with DTP!
You have to try DTP on watercolor paper! I love the look!

My addiction is anything that is sale priced - I JUST HAVE TO HAVE IT!!!! Thank goodness my hubby is as bad as me so he understands!!!!!
For example - I had stopped by Target on Tuesday (BTW their $1 spot is just AWESOME this month!! )
They also had one bin that had a huge "CLEARANCE - 50% off" sign on it!!! So I had to investigate!!
Uh-oh, now I'm in trouble!!! They had some packages of little gemstones for 50 cents!!!
50 CENTS!!
They had teeny stars and little hearts and little butterflys and one pack of plain round ones.
And ...And ...And ......I had just bought some Outlines stamps at the stamp show I was at this weekend and the samples looked sooooooo adorable with some gemstones on them, so I just HAD to have them!!! The cards just aren't complete without those little gemstones and I KNOW I'll use them on lots of other things!!!
So I controlled myself and only bought one of each!!!
Well, for the next day it was bugging me that I had left maybe 6 there!! At such a good price - when was I ever going to see that again!!???!!!
So yesterday I decided that I had a VERY IMPORTANT ERRAND to do!!! My boys were on their last bottle of contact solution!! They have those really ginormous ones and usually I have 2 in stock and they had opened and used maaaaaaybe 1/3 of the last one, .........but they WERE on their last bottle, gosh darn it!!! Oh and I knew Target would have the big bottles, maybe not at as good a price as where I usually get it (which happens to be just up the road in the same shopping complex, but that would just use extra gas to go allllll the way up there!!) So Target would be fine!! And honestly, I did have 2 drip pans that I needed to return to Target because I bought the wrong size. Very important indeed!!!
So just like any good mother I decided that I HAD to stop at Target SOON and replenish their supply......amongst a few "other" things!!!!!
So last night I left a little early for my stamping class that I teach at our local Adult school and zipped into Target!!! I couldn't just walk right by the $1 spot!!! I HAD to check how many of the gemstones were still there and ....before I knew it ...............they had all jumped into my basket!!!!!!   Sneeky little buggers!!!!
OMG and how had I missed those cute little 2 pack bead organizing boxes last time - and for a $1!! Well now I needed them just for all my gemstones!!!
But seriously, it had bugged me for a day that there were some orphaned stamping supplies at a good price and I hadn't helped them find a good home!!!
Now, I don't think that's an addiction - it's more like being frugal!! Look how many dollars I saved!!!
Oh goody!!!! Now I can buy more stamps with all the money I saved by buying those gemstones on clearance!! Right!! Makes PERFECT sense to me!!! :?
BTW, did anyone notice the little ads at the top of page one???
They're for methadon addiction programs etc. Someone seriously needs to come up with a stampers addiction program!!! Of course we're not doing anything illegal, now are we!!!???!!!
Amie
Okay - I could have made 10 cards for the time it took me to type this up!!!

But for the past year I have been addicted to Hemp, that is, Natural Hemp Cord on my cards. Somehow it seems to be working it's way onto about 50% or more of my cards. It just seems to add that natural look to it.
I am just plain addicted to stamping. I have an all or nothing personality so I have thrown myself completely into stamping. When I love something I go hog wild with it. It can be ribbon, a technique, a stamp or set, a type of card, embellishment, etc. I have lots of stuff.
You must me my sister soul, because I am the same way. My poor, poor husband, child and pet, they are so neglected and have been pushed out of the office because of the overtaking of stamps, supplies, CS...
I just can't stop thinking about stamping!!
I am with jesses_girl! I tear SO much my DH thinks I'm crazy. I am always looking for somewhere to put a torn edge - or 4....I am also addicted to my new Summer by the Sea set. I just Love the way it makes me look like a real artist
ROOM! My spare room has become my "craft room." The problem is I don't have room to work in it. I have to bring everything out to the kitchen table! Then where do we eat????
Paper---I hoard it! I love all kinds. I have been stamping for 8 years and have a ton of it. Just recently I have been buying a ton of patterned papers to use with my card making. I also have a store where I buy cardstock for $1 a pound (that's about 30-40 sheets depending on paper poundage!) It's great fun to buy a ton of colors that are almost SU matches.
