What SU color would you use....
for the color JADE? I am trying to do a name frme for my niece whose name is Jadelin and fav color is Jade too.
I was thinking Gable Green or Green Galore but am not sure.
Thanks for your input ahead of time!

Hmm, that's a hard question. I googled "jade" and got this site:
http://www.gemstone.org/gem-by-gem/english/jade.html
It looks like it's in between colors a few colors. Do you think a lighter color green with maybe Handsome Hunter?? I know Forest Foliage (ret) might be a little closer to a blue-green that you're looking for. HTH!

I've used Handsome Hunter for the oriental sets...comes out looking good, especially with some CE on it.

When I think of the color Jade, Garden Green is the SU color that comes the closest in my mind. But, I am just not really sure...

Emerald would be Glorious Green to me. How about Taken with Teal?

I agree! IMO Gable Green and Green Galore are both too light - they'd be more like peridot.

Hmmm.... it appears somewhere in between Handsome Hunter and Taken with Teal.
I think a previous poster was right. the retired Forest Foliage would work good.

Jade can actually come in a variety of colours - even yellows, reds ,white etc so you could kind of use any colour you want.

Also the color of Gaspeite - a stone that looks like lime green turquoise.

That looks perfect, especially with the color variation in the letters, much like real jade. What a special gift!
