Default What Punches are your favorites/Can't do without?

First let me say that I'm pretty new to all of this and I'm just starting to get into the accessories and extras (extras = anything more than color, stamps and paper). I'm going to get the 1/16'' punch in my next order but have been eyeing some others. Which have you found that you use the most/find the most helpful.

TIA!

Wendy

My 1/8" punch is the best. Punches holes for eyelets! I used to love the 1/16" punch but I use the paper piercer instead!

I also use my corner rounder a lot!

My favorites are the flower punch, great for punching out sheet adhesive to use microbeads. Same for the butterfly! I also love the concave square and convex square. My paper piecing punch comes this week. But I just placed an order and it's almost all punches! Can hardly wait.

The ones I use most often: 1/8" punch, corner rounder, and wrought iron. I just got the new Double Circle punch and have only used it a couple of times, but I expect it will soon become indispensible.

I am addicted to the square punches for everything from layering scrapbook titles, making windows on cards, and even punching out parts of photos. I also used to use the 1/16 punch more, and still love it, but I really use the paper piercer a lot for brads now. Also the rectangle punch is a must for me for ribbons.

Default punches

The pig nose punch aka the double circle punch. I can't for the life of me line up anything. Now when I want to run a cord or ribbon I use this. I can always punch a small punch( flower, teddy, etc.) right over these two spots, I just go out toward the outer edges.

Squares are my favorite--and I have them in seven sizes! Great for deco squares and lettering backgrounds on scrapbook pages.

I wish SU had tag punches because they are my next favorite. I have way too many of them--they are just so cute!

I have the double circle punch and I've used it a few times for ribbon holes and it's been nice to have everything lined up with just one punch.

I like flower punches and leaf punches, too. They are such a simple and cute accent.

I'm a punch-aholic!!! I just got the wrought iron one and used it for my flower seed cards. Very cute! But, I also have two different sized tag punches from Marvy Uchida (Michael's) and those lok so cute layered on cards, gifts, etc. I think I have the Mega and The Giga. Can't do w/o those!

I love the Fiskars border punches. I also use leaf punches and the Anna Griffin butterfly punch to punch shapes out of empty soft drink cans. Punching through the can also keeps those punches sharp.

Thanks so much for all of your responses. Did you get your paper piercer through SU? The only place I see it available is part of the kit $39 dollar kit!

I love the 1/8 and 1/16 punches...I use them for eyelets. So much easier than hammering and piercing. =)

Cannot narrow it only to one punch. I love the square step corner punch amd use it often. The wrought iron punch is a favorite. I agree with the other posts too about the squares - could not live without all of them for layering. Another favorite is the tag punches - especially the scalloped-edged ones! I love punches!

I've got to chime in that the Wrought Iron punch is terrific. I use it all the time, but then again I use all my punches and have most of the ones SU has put out. I am a punch nut
