Well, I don't know if you read about it on here or not, but it refers to Joseph from the Bible and his coat of many colors. As in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Is that familiar to you? Joseph's father favored him over his brothers and gave him a special mulit-colored coat to wear. His brothers were very jealous and treated him poorly and sold him. The story is longer than that and more happens but I just thought that might help trigger your memory. Does that help???

It is also a resist embossing technique. Here's a link to a technique card that has the instructions on it:

Hope this helps!

Default Joseph's Coat

It is a technique that has a multi-colored background. Brayer on glossy cardstock using a kaleidoscope pad. Let dry and heat emboss image using clear embossing powder. When cool, brayer over cardstock with dark ink. When dry, use tissue to remove ink from the embossed image. Very pretty.
