Default What do you use to make your magnets stick to your tiles?

What do you use to make your magnets stick to the tiles? I have used hot glue and some kind of rubber cement compound and they still come off. Any suggestions?

I am having trouble too. I stuck mine up and the next day the tiles were on the floor, but the magnet was not. I am trying Crystal Effects tonight. I'll tell you if that seems to work later tomorrow.

Default Glue for tiles and magnets

Yes, Go with the E6000! Believe me it is the best. I had to redue all my tile magnets with it because I use hot glue the first time and it was a disappointing experience. They have stayed together for about six weeks now with no falling off. I guess you learn from your mistakes. Carol

I have used Crystal Effects with great success. The only time one came off was when my ds threw the marble magnet into some water and the paper actually came off with the magnet. Otherwise, no problems at all!

Default E6000 ...

E6000 is the only way to go! I think it's probably cheaper than CE in the long run, and can be used for many different things.

Did you know you can use crystal effects to adhere actual pictures to the back of the glass marbles. Makes cute magnets for grandparents.

I use Crystal Effects to attach the cardstock to the glass marbles. I also use Crystal Effects to attach the magnet to the back of my 2x2 tiles. We usually make these in a Stamp Camp setting, so I like to showcase our projects whenever possible. I have magnets that I made a year ago and they are still looking FANTASTIC!

I too have used the crystal effects and have had great results. Everyone is so surprized that it can be used as an adhesive as well as embellishment.

I got E-6000 glue at Walmart. You could probably find it at most craft stores as well.

If you use the hot glue gun - use a lot of glue or they don't stick very well, we made about 300 and only a few came off and those were the ones that did not have much glue on them.
